@@redrum4100 not sure I ever said I was a fan of Brecel so I don't think I'll stick with the losers. Guys a good player but he knew he was beat stop trying to create an argument where there isn't one.
To not play for one snooker in a deciding frame, as defending champion is really poor.
There's players would give everything to play there, and he didn't even look interested at the end. Disappointing for the crowd too.
a lot of people commented the same when Stephen Hendry went all the way to Belgium to interview him for cue tips. Luca looked like he couldn't be bothered. Bad form.

Brecel winning the title last year was the worst thing to happen to snooker in a long time. He does not even take the game seriously. Will be remembered as the worst world champion ever, rightfully so
Agree, “he’s given up!” sums it up. One hit wonder, and even that hit was pretty much luck considering how his opponent completely folded.

I knew this would happen. Should have put £50 on Gilbert. The debut world champion always seems to go out first round the tournament afterwards. It's uncanny really.

Dear god instad of fear of loosing gilbert is in fear of winning
Maybe next year Luca should try the practicetable some more before the worldchampionship instead of relaxing and playing some darts. And he should take it more serious. Don't get me wrong but i'm not a friend of wastet talent. He has the capability to be a multiple wc-winner but not like this. That he won last year, so my opinion, was not pure luck but he was getting payed of for a risky sloppy game.
So, please Luca, take it next year serious and try to win and don't give up frames and matches easily.
Goodbye, Brecel! Deserved result! The fact that he didn't even try to find a single snooker shows how bad temper he has! Such a shame he won here year ago. But it's ok, only one year and he would never be anywhere near top 16 player again and everybody will forget the fact that he won here. David also never had a good temper, but Brecel is just a shame for the sport. Congratulations to Dave, glad he finally won some close match, good luck in the next round.

@@mulugetakejela6126 actually I am. It's 1 AM where I am and I didn't eat anything since 6 PM yesterday. For the last hour I watched this Belgian can't make a single decent break. But I am glad that Dave finally did what we're all expect him to do. Still a shame Ricky didn't do the same year ago for we never seen a guy that "partying all night" before the last session of quarterfinals against Ronnie lifted World trophy. But it's ok, I am already feeling better now, when he's out, and now I can finally take my midnight snack with peace of mind.

@@juniorjones79Except for the one that matters. I think talent is great but in this hardest sport you need more than talent otherwise Luca would have been on top long ago. To quote the Nugget: "Nobody deserves to win. You're either good enough on the day, the hour, the second or you're not." Maybe a little patience? He went for shots he didn't need to. I mean we know him that way but tone it down just a smidgeon and you might win big time. Does he have a coach? I mean it's a pitty. Such talent. Just a little nudge in the right direction would help him.
Anyway great job by Dave to get back and win.
Luca is a looser
The metric by which a match of snooker is decided is frames won. This is how we decide who is better. This is not ice skating where you have an "artistic score" that can save you.
@@hemmojito snooker is compared to other sports very easy and not really hard, Luca for example could not even run 10 km without a break their bodies are not really sportive sorry! I don t say snooker is easy but what you would rather do? Playing a game of snooker or doing for example playing some ice hockey or football? What is more exhausting😊 I guess footballl and icehockey
