I recently discovered your channel and have fallen in love it. I have never seen someone go to this level of detail while analysing evangelion. Keep up the good work my man

This was the best ending of the 3 shows because it was raw, emotional and realistic. It personified Anno's emotional struggles and frustrations at otakus perfectly. I also love when he shows the realistic scenes of Mistao, Rei and Asuka they look so out of place and weird contrasted to normal everyday people.

The group of Rei's might be a group of people Aoba cared about but is terrified by the situation

This is incredible work. Thank you for going in depth with this analysis; I’m always fascinated, too, that out of the three women Shinji is fixated on, Misato and Rei are soothing but in the end phantoms, and Asuka is the one who seems to break Shinji from his cycle of escaping. She represents a sense of reality that beauty and ugliness, kindness and cruelty are linked. This is the nature of being alive. So the fact that Shinji lies on the beach with her at the end (very Adam and Eve post Lilith) might suggest that the future relies on the union of all the complications life has to offer, the good with the bad. Shinji needed Asuka to wake him up and cause him turmoil, because she was the one least likely to adhere to his idealized image of people he knew. Though, interestingly, even with all of Asuka’s chaos, he was still deeply attracted to her and considered her to be one of the people he was closest to. There’s so much focus put on this relationship, I’m still trying to piece it all together. All I can say is that these two really are each other’s mirror image and foil all at one.

IMO Many forget that EOE ending in real life, just like 3010 Rebuild. They are willing to subvert the ending of 3010 and (dream girl) Mari and Sinji escaping together for some fantasy AusShin ending that they have concocted on their own. Asuka says it plain, she would rather die than be with Shinji. Love this series!! Keep them coming!! Sensei Miksanz

The Asuka who says that is the version of Asuka inside Shinji's mind that whole scene is the same as how in episode 26 all the characters call Shinji to tell him they hate him

@@aritzsantariver thank goodness we got a proper hand in hand ending in 3010. No hand on neck choke out. My gurl Mari for the win! 😜

Am I the only one realize that Gendo and Shinji Ikari at some points very similar to Adolf Hitler?

      1. They both very fell victim to their demons.
      2. They both obsessive, especially with their past.
      3. They both defeated by life so they don’t know living and know how to be happy.
      4. Also they both couldn’t face their demons and failures and rejected them until the very end.
      5. In this process they both selfishly crumbled everyone around them.
This is the end of my critics for now. When calculate their personailities with their own circumstances up down i got these.
