boy oh boy do i LOVE it when i get stuck in a "david vortex" on youtube.i could just watch him sing for hours sometimes i forget where i am and start clapping and scare the cat.

This man is truly a man of God.
Watch them all as they watch David take the solo portion, Gloria Gaither, Ivan Parker, Dean Hopper, Guy Penrod, Vestal Goodman. Steven Hill looks like he's about worried sick. They all know how high this song is and this was David Phelps' first Reunion so you know they were kinda worried. When he nails it you can see how happy and relieved they are! I enjoy watching them react almost as much as I enjoy hearing them all sing, including David.
I didnt see it that way at all, this is the same way I saw George Younce and others react when David,Guy and I believe Sherri sing The love of God, just Amaze at how well he hits those high notes,not worry

This was one of my daddy favorite songs. He passed away on 8-2-2012 I Loved him so much.

+Brian Murtha... The man behind David with the glasses is Stephen Hill. Stephen is a great singer and would likely be able to hit some of those high notes himself. The guy to David's right in the yellow jacket is Dean Hopper from the Gospel group, The Hoppers. I like Ivan Parkers reaction after David finishes. Ivan is sitting in the middle center of everyone in a silver suit. To Guy Penrod's right... I so love this song. David Phelps at his best.

As a young person even though I was saved, songs like this didn’t resonate as much as they do as I sit here as a 51 year old man. I have a wife, mother, and father waiting on that shore. The trials of this life have a way of bringing your vision into focus on what’s important and I long to go home.

Nicolas…..Rex passed away in London the night they rehearsed for the London concert. He went to rehearsal and then passed away from a heart attack during the night. That was on the same trip.
