I only started watching baseball in 2017 but I fell in love with the dodgers and it hurts to get so far but then fail, but now it feels good.

For the haters all the teams literally risked their lives to play a short season this year due to the pandemic but even if the season was shorter the stress of the situation was unbelievable for those who played. The Dodgers played their hearts out and even though its not a full season they made the sacrifices like everyone else. Congratulations Jay Jhonstone and Vince Schully would be proud!

I dropped to my knees ans cried. Just like I did for every heartbreaking loss as well. Only difference this time is these were tears of joy! Imagine slowly building a team from new ownership since 2012. The team is competitive, but still gets bested by the other NL teams year after year. But by 2017, they have grown into a powerhouse and are the favorites to win it all. Only to lose it to a bunch of cheaters.

I was a snot nosed kid when they won it in 88, my family has always been a dodgers family. Watching them lose over and over and then get cheated out of it was the ultimate test of loyalty. Some jumped ship after game 4 2020 most of us asked ourselves "is it going to be another heart breaker season" but we stayed and we cried oh did we cry, I love my team.
I'm a huge Dodger fan. The ups only to fall down for years now, especially in this last decade, have been brutal. I'm most happy for Kershaw who has had his share of playoff and championship series struggles. Trust me when I say that Mookie Betts is the Dodger difference maker.
Betts was huge but so many good things happened from so many players too. Even Floro and Wood came through in the last game and I never expected anything from them.

For the first time ever, it’s satisfying to look back at all of our struggles, look at some of these highlights of games I was at, watch my dodgers lose a title in our own stadium, and finally be able to say we are world champs again. It’s still unreal and it still brings me to tears. 💙

You never how COVID really messed baseball up until you see these replays. Dodger stadium would have been a party this year with All Star weekend and World Series champions winning it all.
I remember thinking the Dodgers team was so good in 2013 and 2014. Looking back they really weren’t.

As A Red Sox fan, would like to say salute respect and congrats to the Dodgers for winning the 2020 World Series...After seeing the Astros win the World Series on your home field in 2017, I knew something wasn’t right and the Astros are gonna get humbled the next time they make the World Series...plus when the Nats beat the Astros in the 2019 World Series, I’m thinking poetic justice and the Astros got humbled....shout out to mookie betts...you’ll always and forever be apart of Red Sox history and Dave Roberts, who made that steal in game 4 in the 2004 ALCS against the Yankees that helped end the curse of the bambino....Dave Roberts Rajon Rondo And Mookie Betts forever loved in Boston And LA....

During a couple of these times, I actually was rooting for the team that defeated the Dodgers in the playoffs, like in 2016 and especially 2019. However, the Dodgers' World Series Championship in 2020 was well earned, and it is nice to see them get it after 7 years of frustration on their part.
I actually also rooted for the same teams! I rooted for the Cubs to finally win after 108 years and rooted for the Nationals to beat the dirty, lying, cheating Houston Asterisks.
