    I made the bench but had trouble with lining. Sewed top about two in, right side facing inside, put tacking strip. Then stabled down bottom. Where it's not sewed on side I tucked in. should I glue stick that down?

    I want to make a 41 x 41 storage ottoman. Do you think those 2" boards underneath that you hold legs on with would be sturdy enough if someone sat on it? Or should I use a 3/4" plywood on the bottom of it as well at for the lid? Thanks!

    1. what size is the foam you put on the side of the box, 1/2 " foam ?
    3. what size is the 4" foam cut ? 1/2" bigger than the top lid wood ?
    2. what size of the fabric cover with the piping you sewn on the top lid ? same size as the top lid wood ? or 1/2" around bigger than the top lid wood ?

    • @ALOUpholstery
      @ALOUpholstery  9 років тому

      Jan NG number 1 and 3 are right but number 2 you would need 1" bigger all around for sewing and the foam.

I am from Argentina, and I would like to do in my country many of the models that I have seen you do, and that is why I would like to ask you if you could help me by telling me what kind of glue you use and how you put it on the air gun, As it looks very practical. From now I thank you very much and I will continue to enjoy watching your videos, Regards! And very successful!

    On a budget and although pretty great the cost would be to high. I will subscribe because I make stained glass panels, windows or Tiffany lamps and make quilts and such. Reason for the info is I want to reapolster both living room set's and probably look at your videos for inspiration or a different how to inspiration. I can't come close to ur talent but with your videos come out with a better pattern and techniques. Thank you I am going to make one, or two? I also want to use a antique buffet as a vanity w two above sinks. Bit concerned about project? And buffet.
