My company is looking for an experienced upholstery master to train our staff. Will you be interested in this opportunity? It would be great if we could learn from you in person! Would you please give me your email address if you consider it? Thank you very much!
Hello, First of all, I want to thank you very much for taking me into account. I have no experience to train people in person. Perhaps I could help in another way, I do not know what you are trying to manufacture or give service. My real field is the automotive upholstery and I am always trying to research and seek faster and easier ways to perform an upholstery project.
Thank you. Your videos are so good. I love that you do not waste time talking about what you are going to do. YOU JUST DO IT! And of course, your videos teach anyone without any language barrier.
great work sir, i have been making furniture for ten years and i have always avoided tufting, but after watching this i am so inspired to give it a try. thanks again i have truly learnt a lot.
I'm glad the videos are useful! The 'real tufting procedure' is without sewings on the back. I did them to make the job easier and understand how the 'foldings' are done. After some practice it would not be necessary. It would come a next related video in leather...I would take off the artificial leather I used for the training and I would use furniture leather instead with no sewings.
What a nice surprise, Balbino! ...I was missing your comments! ...You must defeat that depression! ...There's still much to do and live for!...A real man falls down, but it stands up again! A big hug for you, my friend!
Very professional and detailed. this is the best tutorial I have seen. I love there's no music or voice, is like being in a class. thank you for sharing!
Thank you very much for appreciating this art craft! Do not miss next pending video part 4. Diamond tufting with no sewings, in real furniture leather material.
excellent tutorials, I'm watching and learning, I've just got a used machine ,and practising the stitching you show, you teach precise, in detail, and slow, great for a novice, thanks, keep up the good work
Thanks for watching the videos! Do not forget it is advisable a thin a pliable leather to do this pattern. If you are going to work with thicker leather materials then it would be necessary to add a little more of allowance to do the pleats, otherwise they would disassemble. After some practice you would not need those sewings.
It s such a joy to watch you work. You show all the fine details that make the difference to a quality finish. Superb. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge.

Julia Rowling i think its a easier way to get it perfect done. I enjoyed it a lot.. ive seen other tutorials and people who have experience doing it makes it look easy, but in practice it not like that. Thank you for this video ❤️
Stumbled upon your videos by coincidence and I don't even have a sewing machine, but it's fascinating to watch a master craftsman at work, nonetheless! Thanks för all the great videos! :)
I plan on diamond tufting an office chair backrest in a similar manner but, with Dacron instead of a thin layer of soft foam, use firm high density foam for ergonomic reasons, and use a bone folder to form the pleats instead of sewing it in. I would use medium brown vinyl upholstery.

Great video, but i still have a question. After making the holes on the board at 1:38 , how you make sure the holes on the density are exactly over the holes on the board?
+MrHouserobot Two ways of doing this: one is draw the same figures(rhombs) we did on the board on the foam. The way I used on the video was done 'to save' this procedure...what I did is mark with 'green marker' through the holes in the wood leaving 'marks' for the whole 'points of rhomb intersections'.
The 'solvent based yellow glue' is a traditional adhesive or contact cement used in car upholstery and furniture. It is the same glue used to stick formica as shown in the video about Upholstery Glues: ✅ ua-cam.com/video/o2xeezdF8Ss/v-deo.html
