- Happy holidays Nu Yawkers! Today I'm back in Atlantic City to take a nice Christmas walk on the Atlantic City Boardwalk! I love the boardwalk this time of year because it's not crowded, there are no lines for anything and all of the rowdy people are taking a winter break! In this video, I start on the Atlantic City beach in front of the Ocean Casino Resort and head south to the Tropicana Hotel & Casino. Along the way I record the progress Showboat is making on the Water Park and pass the Hard Rock, Resorts, Pic-A-Lili Pub, the Irish Pub, the Claridge, Bally's Wild Wild West and Caesars and briefly talk about things as we pass them. I’m glad the woman is still singing on the boardwalk. She is a staple if you spend time in AC and walk the boardwalk in the early morning. We didn’t see her the last time we were down there and we we hoping she was ok. She’s a breath of fresh air because she doesn’t ask for any hand outs she sings and wishes everyone god bless a they pass regardless if they tip or not.

So from what you've shown on the vid it seems like the waterpark at showboat will be an indoor park. I wasn't sure if it was going to be usable year round or just a summer thing. This is great news, love bringing the kids to Atlantic City and showboat was my go to hotel. The kids had a great time this past summer with the go-karts and arcade, now with the waterpark it's going to be awesome for them.

would love to see a quick video, when you are in the area, of the AC Hilton/Bally's Grand/ Golden Nugget/Atlantic Club property. Only went in a couple times but found it to be very nice. They are planning to turn it into luxury condos!

For good pizza, I recommend on your way to AC (or on the way back, depending on what time of day you leave) I recommend you stop at Exit 100A on the GSP towards Ocean Grove and stop at a place called Dominic's on NJ Route 33 in Neptune Township (google wrongly states the location as Neptune City). Probably some of the best pizza I have ever tasted, plus their chicken parm, raviolis and other dishes are really great too in my opinion, also it isn't expensive.

Don't necessarily mean to be funny, but why don't they build a wall in front of where Trump Plaza used to be, instead of seeing a dirt lot. They can make it look interesting if they really want to. Also see it coming onto Pacific Ave from Expressway. Looks bad for the tourist.
Actually building a wall on a former Trump property is quite funny! Agreed, not a pretty sight. Perhaps they should focus on building a business or park rather than a wall. Thanks John!
