Janet Dafoe, an ME/CFS Caregiver, Speaks about Living with the Disease

Janet Dafoe spends most of her time caring for her very ill, bedridden son, Whitney Dafoe. But in June of 2016, she was able to speak at one of our fundraisers. She tells about the challenges she and Whitney face together with myalgic encephalomyelitis / chronic fatigue syndrome.
Ms. Dafoe speaks on her sons early symptoms of dizziness, fatigue, and the lack of ability to do things he loved. His health declined to the loss of the ability care for himself until he was bedridden. Now Whitney cannot tolerate stimulation, activity, eating, or people near him.
