Did something similar to mine the other day, except I kept the standard induction, and only removed the part that goes into the bumper. Got a nice 70mm samco silicon hose, and connected that up to the K&N.. i bought the 76mm filter, but the longer one. Car does feel better, the standard induction feels like it's very restrictive. Doesn't sound that much different, you hear it better on the outside. I need to replace the crank pulley, then service the car, and then I will get a 63mm exhaust from pro-fit and the viper branch. Also might get the type r intake cam and gear, so I can run more timing. And then finally flash the car. That should be enough for me personally. Let me know if you know of anyone who might have a S front bumper.. my clips and kak is done. But your car sounds lekke bru, just need vtec to come in lower.. around 4k. Dont go lower than 4k
Definitely looking at flashing my car to, but not anytime soon tbh. The complete Induction like the one i fitted, made a nice difference with performance and sound, would definitely recommend going with the complete Induction kit.

Breathing mods on a K motor does wonders, hands down. Maybe port your intake and do that ecu flash.
