The soap turned out beautiful. The Blackberry doesn't stay a berry color in any soap other than glycerin aka melt and pour. It's a dark gray in cold process soap. I found out the hard way about that one with my Black Raspberry Vanilla soap. It is beautiful in melt and pour. In my opinion they need to make it more clear that it discolors in cold process soap.

Yes, when you use a soap calc it will usually suggest a 38% water volume... I like to soap with about a 25% or so, so I put that in as my amount...
