Can someone explain me if the desire to be pleased by people is wrong in any possible case? BarakAllahu fikum brothers and sisters
@@mdahmd7979 The desire to earn other people's happiness rather than Allah SWT's especially in salah and in doing good deeds is wrong because you basically are showing off instead of doing a good deed. That also means that your heart is not in the right place since you would rather please others than Allah SWT. Of course it is normal and everyone wants to be admired but that should not be the reason you do good things. Sorry if I said too much.

I thought there is only one type of shirk also known as shirk
So what does that have to do with the companions talking about the dajjal?
The point was that there was no point for them to talk/ worry about dajjal since this minor shirk is more of a threat and worry for them and future generations

Unfortunately majority of the society, or at least in my surroundings focus on showing off. 'What will other people think?' 'Look they've achieved this and you haven't!' 'I'm a good person because people says that I'm good.'
They only want to feel superior than others through showing off their status and achievements.

Yeah this I think common as we ignore that Allah is seeing us, rather than we modify our salah when any person sees us. May Allah protect us from minor shirk.

Do you still get the full sin if you didn’t know
you're not held accountable for what you didn't know. if someone ate food and didn't know it was haram (they though it was halal), do you think Allah will punish them for that. do you think they will get the punishment of eating the haram. if someone drank alcohol but they though it was apple juice do you think Allah will punish them. Allah is The Most Just and The Most Fair. Your actions are judged by your intentions.
I have a question, when was minor shirk mentioned, just asking
Ya Allah , as You created us alone, and You provided us with blessings, and You taught us what we did not know, so guide us to sincerity in speech and action, and purify us, and purify our hearts and actions from minor and major polytheism.
