José Luis Roldán Muñoz was a journalist. He worked for various Moroccan, French and Spanish media. His family, persecuted by the Franco regime, emigrated to Tangiers in 1946. In 1965, he left for Paris (Seine) where he joined the sections of the UGT and the PSOE. In 1978 he returned to Spain where he combined his work as a journalism and political activism.
This interview was recorded by the Ramon Rubial Foundation in 2009 as part of the Testimonial Collection of Exiles project, benefiting form a grant aimed at activities related to the victims of the Spanish Civil War and the Franco Regime. This grant was announced by Order PRE/3542/2007, DATED December 4, from the Ministry of the Presidency.
