I love how this episode aired soo many years ago yet the intro sequence is still completely relevant.

I laugh every time I see the Russians turning off the pipeline simply because it was a hyperbolic piece of animation for SO long, and now it's finally happened.

The only reason I watch when Jeremy is on is to watch him get roasted. Everytime! Love it

What's Jeremy done? I only know him off the car show he seems pretty funny

I am indifferent to him, not a fan, but I do admire that he takes a joke at his expense. He can be pretty funny

@@patharasown He knows not to take himself too seriously and he's a good sport. Takes as good as he gets and appreciates a joke.

As an American, I considered him a hero for standing up and opposing the Iraq War. He was right about that and right about a good deal of other things over his career (David Owen being finished, the coalition with the Tories not working out for the Lib Dems, etc). Seemed like a damn good guy.

@@lawrence142002 He was, absolutely. Humane, funny, very accomplished. Everyone knew he had a drink problem, such that they could use it to introduce him on this show, only half in jest. Yet it still killed him, because he couldn't manage to hear the dark truth of what was being said and get control of his problems. So sad and such a loss.

"Well, that's the Scots offended, the Irish. So next stop Wales, Jeremy?"
and Clarkson went on to offend not just the Welsh, but "made it full house"😂

10:49 Ed Byrne describing Bush as "the most stupid President ever." Should have said "so far".

well no one in his right mind in 2008 thought that just in a few years the IQ in US would drop down to the level that hillary and donald would be the presidential candidates, but we found out it has down to 2 digits, the twitter schmuck won.

Trevison Clark It's a good number but not an especially accurate measure because the labor force participation rate is down and the number of jobs actually being created is consistently below forecast, which basically means that the economy isn't doing as well as it should be. The important thing to remember with macroeconomics is that no one figure should be considered in isolation; they're all tied in with each other.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"

this is the one episode I will refuse to watch , i cannot stand to see violence perpetrated by that over blown hyper egomaniac against one of the shows most regular participants. I can't imagine why they would have him back except to continue to take the piss out of him for his sins, but the egomaniac is drowning in his monetary wealth too much to notice.
Thank you Bowman Hath for your copious uploading, I'm sure someone will find it entertaining. just not here.
