Rum Ball Recipe for Christmas !

An old recipe my mother used which she received from a community friend.
For 60 rum balls you will need: 1 cup butter, 1 cup sifted icing sugar, 1 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips, 4 eggs lightly beaten, 2 pinches salt, 4 tbsp rum flavoring, 5 cups vanilla wafer crumbs.
