Thank you for this. I just got my little green and went to work on the couch - then immediately was like "I feel like I'm doing this wrong" even though I followed the instructions. Your video made me feel better. 😁 Hopefully this helps!
Thanks for this video. I just used my little green machine on my couch and wasn't sure if i was doing it right. I appreciate you making such a thorough video, i would have never thought to go square by square.
I have had my sectional about 3-4 years as well. I think I may need to clean it TWICE entirely!! I can't wait to use my machine. Thanks for this video.
Thank you for the help! I have a couch just like yours with the square patterns, and vacuuming those creases just isn't doing enough, so I bought this machine and went at it. My couch hasn't felt this clean since I got it!
Thanks for the video. We just got a Bissell portable cleaner and will be using it to clean a second-hand couch tomorrow. This was helpful to know how to use it!
Thank you. I have one of these machines but I didn't know that it could be used for upholstered furniture. I'll be very happy to clean my end chairs. Thanks again!
Thank for for sharing, what shampoo carpet cleaner did you use and how do you work the machine? I think it should of been a complete video of where the shampoo/water go.
It comes with a cleaning product and instructions. You fill the tanks per the instructions book, spray the area and then vacuum it up/off. It's really easy!
I think you're technically supposed to vacuum the couch first, but I usually don't unless the kids have gotten crumbs all over it or something. I usually try to fill it with hot water, but it cools as I'm cleaning anyway, so I'm not sure if it really makes a difference!
I have to say I hate leather couches. My mom had one when we was growing up and I hated it. When winter came the couch was cold then in summer time you stuck to it because you was hot. Plus with animals the dog nails would stretch it. 😬 but it was definitely satisfying for sure watching this.
I had a faux leather couch and loved it but after 5 years it started peeling really bad, so I went with a cloth couch, and completely regret it😅 but I also have 2 little boys so I feel like I'm CONSTANTLY scrubbing it. When I could just wipe down my faux leather couch🥲😆
I run the suction over it MULTIPLE times, pressing down pretty hard to get the water that went deeper into the couch. It's usually dry by the next day!
Technically, the directions say to vacuum first. I think it really would depend on what you’re using it for, like I always vacuum the rug before using the green machine but only vacuum the couch if it needs it
I wonder if people realize that deep clean means to make something appear as if its not dirty using special chemicals that take of topical dirt only? It doesn't get rid of germs or anything like that, except what will die from water. I find it crazy how many things we were led to believe that really doesn't mean what we thought it meant. Gotta love marketing. Like a shampooer which most of us pretty sure were told it was a steam cleaner growing up. It blows the mind.
Good how-to! Anyone have any favorite homemade shampoo/spot removing recipes? I'm looking for a more natural solution to use with the Little Green. Thanks
I'm so happy to see this because I refuse to pay the cleaning company a bogus amount and I can do it myself

It's one of the most satisfying cleaning tasks!! It's tiring though when your couch is as filthy as mine gets 😂

This machine is a life saver for furniture!

It's so much fun to use! Really easy and SO satisfying!
Thank you. I have one of these machines but I didn't know that it could be used for upholstered furniture. I'll be very happy to clean my end chairs. Thanks again!
Thank YOU! I absolutely love using it!!
I am REALLY scared about what our couch water will look like!! Never been cleaned 😐 thank you for your help, wish me luck.....
Good luck!! Couch water is the worst 😂😂
I just got one of these and I can’t wait to use it lol. My pup sure knows how to dirty up the couch. Thank you for the insight!
Thank you! Two dogs and three kids later, I definitely needed one of these too 😂

Yes exactly!
Do you do it with dog hair on it? I have a lab & she sheds. Also, do you use hot water. I may have missed this part of your video.

I am about to do this to my couch! I just got my machine in the other day! I'm so excited 🤣
Yay!! It’s the best!!!
Sooo satisfying!! Tysm girl!
Thank YOU! 🫶🏻
What a small amount of solution for such a huge job. I definitely would get something to cover the couch with and when dirty throw it in the wash.
Yes! We try to cover it with a blanket, especially when the dogs are laying on it!
I have to say I hate leather couches. My mom had one when we was growing up and I hated it. When winter came the couch was cold then in summer time you stuck to it because you was hot. Plus with animals the dog nails would stretch it. 😬 but it was definitely satisfying for sure watching this.
Those are my reasons for not getting one!
Same reason I hate them lol

Thank you very much for sharing! Exactly what I needed to see for my own couch. :)
You’re welcome!!!
What kind of cleaning solution did you use?
My couch is so wet after doing it ! What do I do?! How long till it drys ??
I run the suction over it MULTIPLE times, pressing down pretty hard to get the water that went deeper into the couch. It's usually dry by the next day!
I did this to my couch a few months ago and it made my couch smell. Not sure why???
What cleaning solution did you use
The bissell green machine solution! They make one specifically for it!
Hi! I just got this version, well now it's gray but still called the green machine. Do you only spray it once?
🙏🏻👏🏻
How do you avoid water marks? I use this but there are water marks everywhere after the couch dries?
I do small sections at a time, and the machine vacuums up any extra water! I go over it several times to suck up as much water as possible
Same!
Did the odor from your couch go away after cleaning it?
Yes it did!
Can you get a couch cover or put a sheet on the sits?
We’ve thought about it! We can’t find any covers to fit our couch, but we put blankets down sometimes, but the kids always toss them everywhere 😂
Do you need to vacuum with a regular vacuum before deep cleaning it? I am asking because I’d like to buy one machine and not two
Technically, the directions say to vacuum first. I think it really would depend on what you’re using it for, like I always vacuum the rug before using the green machine but only vacuum the couch if it needs it
I do if my kids got crumbs all over it or something like that, but usually I don't, and it's been fine so far!
Malory, what solution did you use?
I wonder if people realize that deep clean means to make something appear as if its not dirty using special chemicals that take of topical dirt only? It doesn't get rid of germs or anything like that, except what will die from water. I find it crazy how many things we were led to believe that really doesn't mean what we thought it meant. I just use rubbing alcohol a dab of dawn dishsoap and hot water. I dk how natural that is
@@tiffanyoxman5677 how much alcohol do you use? Tia
Very helpful - thank you.
Thank YOU 🥰
you make it look easy . thanks for sharing ❤
Thank you so much!
Ok, you have explained why my couch is still so wet. I thought I messed up.
Have you used hot water?
Yes thank you!
Did anyone have a issue with the couch smell damp even after it dries?
I run the suction over it so many times after I'm done cleaning it, so it sucks up as much water as possible, and I haven't had this issue!
I am watching this again for ya Mallorie!
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you.
Thank YOU!!
Damn that couch has been through it
Three kids, two dogs, and 7 years later, it absolutely has been through it 😂
