Just visited this place. Fantastic resort! Very comfortable stay. We watched this video before going, at it was very helpful. Now after having been, it is a very accurate representation. The “army” of workers is no joke, and they are all so friendly and nice. Water was great temperature both ocean and pools in end of December. Felt very comfortable and safe the whole time! Hopefully will be back again!
Found this really helpful as I've been trying to work out which rooms to book at this resort and the layout seems so confusing! Annoying though they have started putting more of a split between palms and infinity and if your staying in palms its now $25 per person per day if you want to use the infinity side, so no foam party for us!
We just got back from this resort (Jan 20/24) after spending 2 weeks there. This video and information is very accurate EXCEPT the Arrecifes restaurant and pool area is under renovation. They were tearing up the pool the day before we left and the whole back of the restaurant is being worked on. No ice cream shop either. It looks months away from being completed. I likely would not have gone here had I known this. It looks like it would have been a nice area to eat and swim.
We haven't been at what is now called the Palms since 2015. It was still called the Seaside Suites back then as the current Suites wasn't built yet. Good video as we plan to go back next Jan/Feb 2024 with friends so it was really good to see and show our friends what has changed and see what is still there that we liked. Thanks!
Right ! was funny as the first 5 days had no problem getting a chair or daybed but last cpl days they were all full by then. Almost like the majority of the crowd came about the same time we did on the weekend and it took that long to realize you had to be up early to get what you wanted lol....
I went here summer of 2016 and they upgraded us to the high-rise Suite on the premise that we would attend a timeshare meeting or presentation we went to the timeshare presentation and it was just one blonde-haired American lady trying to sell us timeshare and she was very very very very pushy I cannot express to you how rude and pushy she was she was very upset that I was not interested my naive wife was completely suckered in and was almost begging the lady to take her money and I was holding out not interested and the lady was very rude and disrespectful it was pretty crazy experience on new that timeshare people were pushy but thinking another country they're twice as pushy as normal
El Dorado Seaside Suites resort is not what is use to be. Maintenance is not being kept up, the food quality has also gone bad. This resort is the biggest disappointment ever. The founder of the Resort chain turned control over to his daughter and her husband has been running the resorts. Furthermore, the son-in law has been cutting standard amenities, activities, shows and basically going cheap and yet wanting to charge a premium price for what use to be consider a 5 star resort that's now at best 3 stars. The place is very depressing and I would never recommend anyone to stay at this resort. And if you would ask me if I would return to this place, my answer straight up is a diffidently NO. Better to use you money at another resort. Seaside Suites is poorly managed! Reply
