No need for motivation letter for bachelor's. Your online interview will sort that.

After submission, you will receive an email with a link to edit your application. Sometimes, this link do not work well. So my advice is that you fill the form only when you are ready with all info and documents needed.

Thanks for your meaningful video! I have a question in joint application, if I tick on the option "Yes, I have or I will...." in SAT section, is it possible they would consider my both SAT and Joint entrance exam's mark? If my admission fails in SAT, can they take my score of 2-round exam to process?
The universities with such options can consider your SAT if you do not meet their cut off mark. But remember that priority will be given to those who pass the entrance exams.

Yes you can.
The joint application is for all universities but the entrance exam is for universities of applied sciences.

Also, I have an HND certificate, what do you think I should name the documents, lastname_firstname_waeccertificate/ HNDcertifate or lastname_firstname_generaluppersecondaryschool for my waec and /higherdiploma for my HnD?
Hi Bianca! You wrote the GCE at a school or centre. So write the name of that School or Centre under the Educational Institution. I don't know about GCE but it is always written on WAEC certificates. Please add your HND certificate using the 'Add' button.
As for naming the files you can use Lastname_Firstname_HighSchoolDiploma (for your GCE cert) and Lastname_Firstname_HigherNationalDiploma (for your HND cert).

I'm not sure I got your question. However, High School Diploma is equivalent to any certificate that makes you eligible for higher education in your home country.

So When I fill in the application form, can I upload the bachelor degree certificate instead of a high school certificate? And must the certificate be translated into English? Thank you very much.

Well, if you want to add your previous Bsc certificate, it is up to you but i usually do not recommend it. What is relevant is your high school certificate.
Also, note that if your previous studies and certificates were/are in English, then you do not need to translate them.

Yes during the application period. Usually a submission deadline for the certificate will be given.

Yes, you can. You just need an identification document that has a number and your picture on it. Once your passport is ready, you can update the schools. However, your passport has to be ready before you apply for a residence permit.

If you are applying for a bachelor's degree program, i would not recommend that you upload a previous Bsc certificate. Diplomas are fine because it is not recognised as a higher degree but shows you have been studying after high school. I have seen people get admission this year without uploading their bsc cert. Just my opinion though.😊

Hello, you will fill only one application for all 6 schools where you get to upload the required documents. If you get admission offer from more than one school, you can only chose one of them.

No. Joint admission is once in a year and always take place in January. From September onwards, there will be seperate applications where some programs in different schools will start taking applications.

Should I upload transcript records to apply for a bachelor degree ?
You only need your high-school certificate to apply for a bachelor's degree. However, if you have a bachelor's degree already, you may want to upload the certificate/transcript but it is not compulsory.

@@adventschliker7435 If you click bachelor's degree outside Finland, it will ask you to upload your certificate and then your transcript. The form is very straightforward, read the description before uploading any file.

Yes, you can get a part-time job as a student anywhere in Finland, for up to 30 hours per week.
Easy depends on the type of job. Blue collar jobs are easily gotten and, most times, do not require finnish proficiency. But most white-collar jobs require finnish proficiency. You can always secure a full-time job after schooling.
Postgraduate permit in Finland has been increased to 2 years. However, if your study permit is still valid at the time you get your certificate from your school and you have a full time work contract, you can apply for a continous work permit directly which allows you work full time.
Most schools have finnish language classes, which might be compulsory or optional, depending on your program. There are also private language schools you can attend for a token if your schedule permits.
Good cities include Helsinki region, Turku, Tampere, Jyvaskyla, and anywhere not more than 4hrs by public transport to Helsinki.

Is there alternate for English test for Nigerians. Such as medium of instructions from uni
Unfortunately, it is a strict policy in Finland that all international students who wants to study English-taught programs, must submit an English test result, even if they are native English speakers. That is why the decision made by the Universities of Applied Sciences to scrap it for bachelor's degree programs was great news.
Some universities waive it for students who had their previous studies in New Zealand, Australia, UK, Canada and the likes.

@@arinzechinonso5678 For Bachelor's and Master's degree programs, only IELTS Academic is accepted, some schools accept other English tests. You can use the IELTS General to apply to vocational schools.
