Well, it really took a while, but Konami understood that handtraps are the evolution of the trap cards. The bad thing about that one is that it can really benefit specific decks like Labrynth and Dinomorphia for those being Dark.
Lots of others too like dragon link, dark world, and unfortunately... snake-eye
Dinomorphia only wins if it wins the coin flip, it will never be a relevant meta deck.
@@YeahSureLetsGoSeeYamcha , the meta relevance of that deck is inconsequential for the discussion. This is about if that handtrap can benefit many decks, especially those that really needs it like Dinomorphia, and it does due to some of the cards that could complement both that handtrap and the archetype cards (Trap Trick, Trap Track, Lady Lament, Lord of Heavenly Prison, Arias the Labrynth Butler, and others).
I am so grateful that Apollousa and Baronne de Fleur are WIND monsters and Naturia Beast is an EARTH monster.

Ok so I’m seeing a pattern here. Konami is reprinting effects of current cards, but splitting them up into multiple cards so they can (potentially) ban these overpowered cards and “balance” these effects by splitting them into multiple cards

Labrynth. Need more trap cards to activate from hand. It's the only way for trap decks to keep up and I think there should be added benefits if they were activated while facedown.

The only drawback I see for this card in labrynth (and potentially other trap decks) is the conflict with dogmatika punishment targets like n'tss (light).
The restriction is only if you use it as a handtrap, that being said using it as a normal trap isn't bad it's literally a solemn and if you need to, you can use it from the hand.

Stun support since they use Morgantie so they still can use handtraps beside D Shift

Also could trigger the lab effects when u destroy if you have a trap in the grave
if they have to make a card just to restrict you from water, wind & light, also vice versa
i'm sure that "vanquish soul" will be on the table for this

I'd love to see you make a video of a deck that can use both this and the other Dominus hand trap. Probably would have to be something that relies more on continuous effects or big beatsticks supported by Continuous S/T floodgates.

I'm definitely playing dominus impulse in sharks post rage of the abyss. This card in a deck that's water locked is sooooo busted.
Blackwings is the only one that comes to mind at the moment maybe raidraptor too
Yubel can use that card. Unchained too. Caesar is water. Unfortunately snake eye can use it. Tenpai too, ig. Infernoble probably wouldnt use this since Isolde is LIGHT.
Issue with snake eye and tenpai is they play too many hand traps that would conflict with it. Also the fiendsmith engine clashes with it so idk

Prevents you from using Maxx "C" and Multcharmy Fuwaros. So it's unplayable in OCG. Maybe in TCG soon.

With all these new hand traps I am worried that maybe next year they will announce a massive banlist with all current ones atleast on OCG
That would be good, so people will actually think and innovate their decks, instead of 15 handtraps, 10 engine cards and 15 core cards with generic extra deck bosses
