Contains a dramatic cluster that is played by slapping the palms on the piano, and concludes with the performer striking the bass strings inside the piano with a pen and then slamming down the keyboard lid while holding the pedal. Ominous left-hand ostinato throughout. Uses the piano as a resonance or echo chamber. Level 7 (out of possible 10)
