    what would a lock diff do differently on the infraction? like what would the performace difference be rather than an open diff?

    How do you like the ceramic bearings? Nice build 👍clean

      Ceramic Bearings on the car make a difference, on the spool full Ceramic Bearings don't work, they can't handle the RPM and vibration. Thanks for watching!

      @@RCPASS1 Which bearings did you end up going with for the spool, if the ceramic ones ended up not being good enough for the job? ...and where else did you use the ceramic bearings that helped improve car performance? Great videos btw! I just got my Arrma Infraction v2...trying to eliminate all fast wearing, failing, stock parts.

      @JAHbyDesiGn - Ended up using Fast Eddy Ceramic bearing kit, they are hybrid but is night and day the way the car rolls. For the spool full metal hybrid. Thanks for the support, I appreciate it 👍👊

    One other question the diff gears not the stock sizes are they ? if not y different size

    • @RCPASS1
      @RCPASS1  3 роки тому

      @Michael condrey The front and rear diff gears are stock, the V2 brings a better ratio for speed runs than the V1.

    Is there anyway you could let me know where you got the locker parts? I'm doing something like that, but I used BOCCA bearings. I JB weld the center diff.

    • @RCPASS1
      @RCPASS1  3 роки тому

      @Khris Yeet - I got the lockers from ebay, my only advice is to buy longer set screws for the center locker. Bocca sells great bearings!

      Cause Idk if I should put a shim inside the rear hubs because there is slop on the tires meaning when you wiggle them back and forth

    • @RCPASS1
      @RCPASS1  3 роки тому +1

      @@illhairacing3543 - I would try the tubing first, that's going to take the play from the hub and I would also check the set screw in the hub thats holding the pin, might be loose. Putting a shim could cause binding. Let me know how it goes.

    • @RCPASS1

      @Mike s - You will notice the difference, there is no play on the drive system, nothing to give way except a failure. Also take your time to get used it when you install them, don't lock the brakes at high speed s.

    Did bearings have grease in them when you spun that spool

    • @RCPASS1
      @RCPASS1  3 роки тому +1

      @Travis Drury - the bearings are sealed but I found this that might help with your question.
      Q: Do full ceramic bearings need lubrication?
      A:
      No, full ceramic bearings can be run completely dry. They do not need lubrication to run. Ceramic is non-porous, unlike steel, as a result it is virtually frictionless. Ceramic also dissipates heat very quickly, which is the same reason they use it on the underside of the space shuttle. Because there is no heat buildup and virtually no friction, full ceramic bearings can be run completely dry. They can be cleaned out with regular tap water or any cleaner, they are impervious to corrosion and can operate in a vacuum environment.
