    Man, such a trip down memory lane. I'm 37 now and it's been at least 20 years since I've been to the Omni Theater, but I still remembered every second of this intro video.

    Man this brings back memories. I'm 36,soon to be 37,and i have many fond memories of grade school and junior high field trips to the Museum of Science and the Omni Theater. It was unique,i would be gripping my seat as we flew over Boston,and that distinctive baritone Spock voice booming from the speakers. This was more than a decade before HD television,hell even 5-10 years before the internet was invented. I was actually thinking about those field trips and the intro by nimoy the other day,and when he passed,i really wanted to see and hear it again. This is great. RIP to a legend as well,he did live long,and he did prosper,and may he continue to prosper even into the afterlife.
    As Spock once said,logic is the beginning of wisdom,not the end!

      @drkaufman 5 років тому +2

      This is the first thing that tends to come to mind when I think about Nimoy, as well. I used to feel like I was going to fall frontwards out of my seat during the helicopter flight, but my favorite part was the high-speed ride down Storrow Drive. It's been more than ten years since I left New England, and this video makes me a little homesick!
      FWIW, I suspect that Spock quote is derived from a verse in Psalms, "Reishis chochma yiras Hashem," or "The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the L-rd."

    I just took my kids to the omni theater today for their first time. I knew I wasn't going to see the opening of my childhood but I secretly hoped maybe I would. I'm so excited to watch it here! Brilliant! I absolutely love it! I wish they would bring it back... it was always my favorite part.
