Totally different platform than the Saturn Vue. These were on the U platform (same as the Dustbuster vans) and the Vue was on the Theta platform. Saturn did have a version of this van called the Relay, however.
I've always liked them too. It was such a different design and look. Had to grow on some ppl I suppose. Of course when GM goes and makes a whole new thing you get your typical GM bashers. But when another manufacturer does the same they say "a pioneer" or whatever. You can see it in the freestyle video posted reading comments.
Just remember Chrysler did it first and Honda had to copy with the oddessy and it was awful then the second gen had transmission problems than never changed
