I have done both lovnenox and heparin shots/injections. Not fun! Was just as scared s you are, but with the patients and encouragement of the nurse I am now able too do them when needed. Here for ya as a fellow open heart survivor.
Crazy I'm going through the same exact crap..Thank you for you videos..I'm on Lovanex now..its not that hard..just grab the fat part of your tummy and slowly release..clean the area 1st with alcohol..it will burn just a bit.But it's not 2 bad..I hate needles and I did it..Good luck!!!
I did the Lovenox for three weeks after my surgery due to low INR. It’s not pleasant, but it was better than being readmitted to the hospital (dr was threatening to readmit me). Are they adjusting the warfarin after each blood draw? It’s ridiculous you have to chase the doctors and nurses.
Hi. try to get your own machine the insurance cover mine and i do it at home. i also keep records of my reading and dosis wright next to it just in case i cant get in touch with my cardiologist i will know what he gave me in the past. i have a mecanical work done in my hart and aortha.

I learned through my recovery that you have to be your own advocate, ALWAYS! Sad, but true. Hang in there girl!
I hate this INR stuff. No one does their job correctly. Had to call for my numbers tonight. 1.6 ugh
Stay on them Stephanie! No wonder medical mistakes are one of the leading causes of mortality in the US. You can do this!

Yes, I got my own machine from Wilburn medical USA
What happen if you living warfarin and take antibiotik
The antibiotics make the warfarin less effective so your INR could drop and you could get clots
