I tried to end my life today, it is currently 4:01 am. I’ve made a lot of mistakes and I’ve regretted a lot of things. I’m so happy I’ve failed. Being close to death has never made me feel more alive. I want to make it up the me who was suffering by being the happiest I ever could be. Because yknow what, I goddamn deserve it. I’m so sick of hating myself that I just think I’m gonna love myself, I’m going to live, I’m going to love, I’m going to be the person I hated because guess that that’s the authentic me and I idgaf if anyone has a problem with it. Last May (2023) I got fired from my job and had to move back into my parents house. I'd gained alot of weight and was at my heaviest at 258lbs. I remember crying one night in my bed because I felt like a complete failure. I had given up on my dream of becoming a doctor because of my learning disability in mathematics. Because of that I fell into a deep depression. This video was a turning point for me. As of May 2024: I've moved into a studio apartment by myself Have 2 jobs lost 35lbs (currently at 222lbs) Got my ass back into school After my 4th attempt I finally passed my exams in mathematics I'm happy to say that I'm moving to Slovakia next year to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor. Thank you again, God did ❤

my mother is going through cancer right now, we’re halfway through the treatment. up until now i’ve been putting on a brave face, being stoic in my ways and just soldiering on with everything until this week everything caught up with me. i’ve found myself becoming so demotivated with life, i felt like i took a hit in my own business plans when they were just getting started, i’ve been feeling so angry and as a result i was forgetting small things combined with the questions from everyone showing their concern just stacked up and it was all getting to me. i wanted to give up on everything i had been working towards because things were getting to their boiling point. this video reminds me of this expression i keep thinking of “the only way you fail in life is if you quit” and i know i wasn’t raised to be a quitter so thank you for the reminder with this video

I was diagnosed with ocd this year and it’s been really tough but this video reminded me that life is beautiful and so is the suffering. Therapy along with life has been a little tough but so is sitting in your own darkness and doubt and giving up. Keep going everyone!
