Great to see two young adults hosting parties with no phones in sight. The thing about house music and music and general its all about the community. Its nice to be in this day and age and being able to record memories or take photos but you miss the point of interacting with the people next to you. 8)
That’s crazy never knew they birthed the actual book club idea. Book club is like a more low-key/intimate version of Boiler Room so I was hooked from the moment I came across Tinzo’s groovy set
I just discovered BCR and adore these two. So glad so see renewed pushback against the narcissism and distraction that social media apps have promoted.
What a gift it was to have come across you guys several months ago. Grew up in the county of Kings attending block parties and dancing at places like Danceteria, The Loft, Gothams, Limelight, and Paradise Garage home of the iconic Larry Levan. You consistently take me on these beautiful journeys (just as Larry did) and bring me happy tears while dancing to your sets. BRAVO!!! Glad to get a little insight on your work ethic and process because I've wondered, "how do these kids have such a vast knowledge of music I grew up with?" Keep bringing the happy tears and looking forward to your growth as artists. I'm turning on all my friends to your skills and everyone is dancing! CHEERS!!
I love the complete and utter passion that you all have behind this. It really comes through in every video because everyone from guest to DJ is always so clearly having a great time. I feel immersed when I watch these videos, almost like I'm there too and it's great. Please never stop sharing y'all's amazing music with us.
This made me love BKR that much more. No phones on the dance floor, learning to dj and showing the world the process, partying with your friends, enjoying the process. Im inspired to bring something like this to my city.
Discovered Book Club Radio last summer and it was almost like a revelation. I almost exclusively listen to their sets nowadays when working. They're going to be huge!
I discovered BKR I guess a little more than a year ago and just NOW I discovered that you two are the creators of it! I love everything about it, all the DJs, the themes, the songs, the parties, everything! Love you guys
I randomly got the Book Club videos suggested recently, and I LOVE them. The themes, the music, the vibes, it's all so good! Even though we live on the other side of the globe, we really hope to join your parties some day. Please keep creating. You guys are amazing ❤
What you guys have created is just incredible! I discovered BCR a few months ago and you guys have been playing non stop over my speaker for weeks now, thanks so much for what you guys do. Awesome mixes, you guys are great!
I'm a new DJ and I LOVE watching BCR just to learn new things. Sometimes, when I feel like I hit a wall while learning, I can vibe out and just ride the vibes. Keep up the good work, dudes, and much love from AZ.
OMG ! Both of you are my current faves!! I literally played you at all my events and parties. I had no idea you guys were related! I love this idea! My goal for 2024 is to be able to attend at least one of them with my crew!
I love what you are doing and how you are doing it. I love the sets, watching you grow along your journey, your positive energy and vibe. Never stop following you path. All the best from Frankfurt / GER.
I love Book Club Radio, i subbed a few months back and watch every new set at least once and several i put on regularly (esp JoJo's "groovy dark" set & Tinzo's "groovy disco" set, I guess i just like it groovy lol), it always feels like such a fun and relaxed vibe! You guys have created something really cool, and it's been nice to see how much success you've foudn with the idea :) and I cannot clean my house without yall anymore lol
from Lincoln UK (at the moment), see you in NY! you both are so refreshing & brilliant thanks for enriching the music scene with your presence , love ya!
Back in the day it was completely another type of experience, and by that I mean stronger, more genuine, now everyone is with a phone documentin instead of enjoying. And the worst they don´t even dance anymore but keep cheering to the dj like if he/she was a god, now djs don´t even mix, the whole philosophy got screwed where some people saw big monetary gain in the electronic music culture.
To be fair back in the day if the technology had been around we would probably have live streamed our events... I ran a Tuesday night in Soho for 5 years and thinking back we'd have loved to live stream it.... however there may well have been far too much drug action going on for that to have been possible.
@@miamijim5964 sure, technology drives people not the other way around and as time passes I attest more to that. Soon music will be done by ai not by a human, probably a sensor on the dancefloor will "notice" the need for more bpm or a switch in style, things change. My main gripe/beef with today´s dance culture (among how trivial and commercial it has become, lost its soul so to speak, before everyone was part of the event, no sponsors no crap, just people with sound and their friends, and by the word of mouth we made illegal parties on abandoned areas and such) is the damned attitued of the people towards the dj that´s disguting, all of them in front of a human jukebox like if he was a god or something like that, is a complete contradiction, the opposite of what/why this culture began, people should dance and enjoy themselves, they are the stars.
BKR is one of the coolest new channels on UA-cam hands down. Always a vibe. Keep up the good work, guys.
Extremely talented duo
I put on a Book Club Radio videos when I throw parties. 🎉 Always a hit ❤

LoL Hilarious what the dude who imitates Our Generation and Cultures and Cultural Heritage and How We Grew Up looks like
No Own Identity
And that includes the '' Club ''
Take your meds bestie
Whats a book club?
