Sofya Valiullina suits Bolshoi and I'm happy that Angelina Karamysheva is going to Mariinsky! She's one of my favorites.
@@mojovr5003I read that the top 3 stars got a soloist contract at Bolshoi, so my guess is that they were like, "Why go through corps de ballet if u got soloist immediately?" 😅 Yes, it's unusual that the mariinsky didn't get the best graduates this year but I guess they need to up their contract game next time. It could be also that mariinsky now still got stars from previous years that are still progressing, and I got feeling that if these 3 girls go to mariinsky it will be hard to step up to the next big level in a fast speed compared to going to bolshoi.

I agree brutally difficult exam ! I haven’t seen a more difficult exam anywhere in the world. The Russians are absolutely top class in ballet !! These girls are stunning dancers. There are always little imperfections but that’s what dance makes it so beautiful. Otherwise just put some robots to dance !

At @ 21:17 The 2023 Vaganova Graduates 🎓 🎓 🎓 beamed with delight 😊 and together they expressed their sincere gratitude ❤ to their great teacher Professor Ludmila Kovaleva. And on that night 😊 the graduates and the professor were the happiest people on earth!
And thank you very much ❤ 😊 of course to the famous Russian 'Piano Accompanist' of the 2023 Kovaleva Class. Both the Professor and the pianist have a 'special' partnership. For example Little Cupids at @ 17:27 the pianist played it quite fast and at @ 17:54 she played it a tad slower. The Professor coaches the students 🌼 to be able to move fast and slow 😊 she gives then a variety of possibilities and teaches them to refine their skills 😊 while they're dancing.
I always danced my worst during exams bc of the pressure. They’re all gorgeous to me.
Not only are your dancers some of the best I’ve seen, but they are some of the most beautiful. Thank you for not requiring them to be emaciated. They’re not too skinny. In fact many of them have breasts! There’s nothing more beautiful than a curvy ballerina! Thank you so much for bringing such beauty into the world of dance for us all!

На самом деле их никто не заставляет худеть. Если они могут выполнить программу обучения без труда, значит вес им не мешает. Вес уходит сам, вместе с нагрузкой. А грудь у девушки, если она есть, то она никуда не денется. Хотя, если девушка худеет, она худеет в груди в первую очередь.

I don’t know who is who. We’re they each leading separate groups when they split up? I saw one extraordinary dancer in each group (well, even more extraordinary than the rest, as they are all fantastic).

@@julietwilliamson-waggoner9482 Thanks! For some reason, I was surprised to see someone in the second group being so good, as I thought all the stars went in the front of the first group. But it makes sense if you’ve got two potential stars to put them both front and centre.
@@dajtoad1 i think the way they lay out these exams is very very complicated, lots of different things being weighed up by teachers, i dont pretend to understand it! but the simplest way to see the "heirarchy" is by looking at barre spots, which span out from centre. i think also because they are quite different dancers so they wanted to show them off on their own :)

None of the other vaganova exams are perfect, as perfection does not exist. Regardless, all of them are extremely high quality. I have yet the see a better school than vaganova. I don't see how anyone would think they would be ashamed of their graduates.

Специалисты обычно так говорят. Просто любители балета не всегда могут понимать потенциал студенток, или серьëзность их ошибок. В Академии Вагановой обычно не выпускаются те, за кого может быть стыдно. Из 26 студенток первого курса осталось только 7 на выпускном экзамене. Так что, сами понимаете...
Maria Koshkaryova’s moments are attractive (I know her because of this video. I don’t know who is the attractive girl I am looking at at first and I search for the names😂 It is so interesting that the first one is hers.
It makes me feel that I know how to appreciate ballet.
Gorgeous overall and lots of talent, love that they allowed for two center girls in some of the combinations. And wow that Allegro en pointe was tough!! But… my Vaganova ballet mistress would NEVER have tolerated so much leading with the wrist, dangling fingers, pointing fingers etc… I see it everywhere these days and it makes me crazy, I’d have gotten my wrist cracked with a ruler … “you’re not marionettes!!” She’d say 😂 Ruins the port-de-bras. At least most of these girls keep their thumbs in.

I’m not a ballerina, so forgive my question. Are these women completing exams to get into Vaganova? Or applying for a company? What is this exam for? Thank you. I loved watching them. They’re all so talented! Wow….beautiful dancers ❤
these are (approx) 18-year-old graduating students of the vaganova academy. at this exam, there are many directors of theatres in attendance, and they will take note of which graduates they want to invite to their companies. so this is their final year exam, but it is also a way for them to get jobs! all the girls in this video are now employed as company dancers, some in the corps and some already at the soloist level :)

unfortunately no, I don't own these clips and the telegram channel I found them from (@devilonpointshoes) didn't post anything from the other class :( but from yulia kasenkova's post, it seems that all of them passed, and she said that angelina karamysheva, yaroslavna kuprina, pinja rissanen and daria kulikova got perfect scores!

sorry, i'm not sure who it is because the video is so blurry! but given the number of dancers in each exercise is correct even after the fall (13 total), I think it's safe to say that she did finish the exam.
I was dancing ballet in early age and stopped because of hysterical teachers and the chance people can tell you at 30s - you’re too old. It’s seems nice when you dance for viewers and viewers are here for dancers. But it’s wi try out any sense. I don’t understand ballet
