Awww thanks for that. I've really had to work at that since greens in particular have a habit of morphing or fading after saponification. Oranges fade even more! So doing the making it seems too green or too orange. But then the colors settle down into what I want.
Thanks a bunch Deb. It is one of my favorite soaps. I suppose every soap maker has their favorite. Of course the key is to use just the right amount of avocado. It has to be an amount small enough to saponify, but enough to get that creamy consistency in the bars.
Awww two lovely places. Thanks for that. I wanted color, but something natural looking. I've been to Alaska twice and Hawaii many times since that is where my parents were from. Thank you PaulaLyn!
Oh my Clyde. That is such a professional video. As always your voice is so soothing. The education and instruction you give in each video is great. I can't wait to try my hand at Avocado soap after watching this. THAKS SO MUCH!
Thanks Sarah! You've got me thinking on whether or not I've always made this soap in the spring. It didn't occur to me, at least consciously, that it's a spring-like soap. In California, since we grow lots of avocados here, we can get avocados year round.
Joya! What I great idea! I'll try to make that happen. On the matter of fast tracing soap, I hate to lose a batch, let alone a bar due to the saponification elves that mess with you sometimes. I became keenly aware very early on in my soap making, to pay close attention to what the soap batter was doing so I could improvise if needed. That's a skill worth honing. It's almost like a dance where the soap is leading. Thanks Joya!
This is an amazing soap Clyde I love all the fresh looking colours you used. I made an Avocado and fresh Aloe flesh not long ago and now I know what you mean about how the soap feels different, it's like a velvet feel if that's possible. 🥑💜
0:29 I titled it in the video. Terry, I really try to put all that information in the videos, but am happy to answer most questions that I didn't cover. I love the Bamix for cooking as well. Mine is dedicated for use with cooking, but since it was only used for avocado and water in this case, it was OK to use.
Clyde this is beautiful. Avocado is interesting. Do you find the soap creamier from the avocado? I would love to try this soap. It is soo beautiful. True piece of art! Great job again Clyde! Much love. 💖💖💖
Oh! You noticed that. Sometimes I practice writing with my left hand too. It's hard to do and almost illegible. Kind of crazy to do that, but well, that's me. I've also practice writing words upside down and backwards too. I think I started doing that years ago because I was fascinated with Da Vinci. Can't compare myself that that master though. 🤣
@@vibranttravelswithClyde oh, yeah yu can compare, just factor in your different mediums. Heck yeah. Too much humility brings depreciation. Don't mean to brag just kno worth. My pops was ambi. Hello! I’m here to support and learn!!
Awww I really appreciate that!
Thank you!
While you’re living your best life, I’m still watching your videos for inspiration. Thanks for the soap legacy, Clyde.
Ah, that's so nice of you. Thanks so much for that comment.
The design is perfect. Gorgeous colors, love the texture. You are an artist in everything you do.
Awww, thanks so much Cam!
Beautiful soap Clyde, you can almost see the creaminess in it.
So observant of you. Yes it's very creamy. I have to believe that the avocado puree is responsible for that. Thank you so much Estela!
Perfect shade of green for avocado and jade. 😍
Awww thanks for that. I've really had to work at that since greens in particular have a habit of morphing or fading after saponification. Oranges fade even more! So doing the making it seems too green or too orange. But then the colors settle down into what I want.
@@vibranttravelswithClyde So true. I battle those also. You are spot on this time tho. Looking forward to your next one.👍🏽
Oh, beautiful Clyde!
Lisa! How nice of you. Thank you!
What a WONDERFUL soap! The top is stunning. You’ve recreated nature: great job ⭐️
Thanks a bunch Deb. It is one of my favorite soaps. I suppose every soap maker has their favorite. Of course the key is to use just the right amount of avocado. It has to be an amount small enough to saponify, but enough to get that creamy consistency in the bars.
That's a very beautiful soap! Reminds me of Alaska and Hawaii simultaneously.

Hi Terry! Thanks! I can't wait to see what you come up with. I think you'll love it.
Your slab soaps are my favorites! This one is no exception.
Thank you Carolyne!
I really enjoyed learning how you made the avocado puree and watching you mix up the micas. Good to see. The green makes it look so creamy.
Thanks Shirley. It is definitely a feel good soap!
Wow, these are beautiful! Love the colors and design.🥰❤️
Thank you very much!
The colors and the texture is gorgeous!
Hello Mary! Thank you very much!
Perfect for March!
Thanks Sarah! You've got me thinking on whether or not I've always made this soap in the spring. It didn't occur to me, at least consciously, that it's a spring-like soap. In California, since we grow lots of avocados here, we can get avocados year round.
@@vibranttravelswithClyde it says spring to me! And you have got me wanting to try avocado! 😂
I love the green!!!!
Awe thanks so much. That pistachio green is one of my favorites and has always been my green of choice for this soap.
Clyde this soap is gorgeous!!
Isn’t it?!?!? 😍
Very pretty color working in your soap. I'm still trying to get it right. Creativity at it's best 💕
Thank you It takes some practice and knowing your micas. Some micas fade or morph, so it's good to know beforehand so you can make adjustments.
Beautiful !
Thank you so much Barbara!
Omg what a beauty .have always admired how your swirls turn out even though the soap traced fast.
Clyde could u do review of some of your soaps .

Haha, I learnt the hard way scraping my blender with it turned on, pesto everywhere and a cut finger 😂😂😂
Ouch! Yes, that can happen so easily. I bet it's a lesson you'll never forget.
Beautiful design Clyde. Where can we buy the divider please
I blend my avocado with some of my batch oils to make it smooth
Very good. It definitely needs something liquid to blend it up well.
such a great soap ty
Hello StarDelta-9 I love that name. Thanks so much!

Yes, so creamy too. Will you make it again Tanya?
Definitely yes
Beautiful
Clyde - can you spell the name of the stick blender you used on the avocado please. THANK YOU.

Hi Valerie! Definitely yes. I think you might be able to see the creaminess in the video, but it's also creamy to use. Thank you!
Lovely and booful. Hey, you're pretty ambidextrous, Clyve! Nice👊😁

New to your channel loved how this soap came out.
Question did you discounted the water used in avocado from the lye solution. Thanks for sharing.
Ohhhh I love this soap! Do you lower your super fat when using a whole avocado? I’ve used a half and didn’t lower.
Yes, but I still superfat, but cut back a bit because I still want the soap to bubble well. Great question! Thank you!
