Look up allulose. It's easily the best sugar substitute I've tried. It looks like sugar and tastes like sugar but apparently is better for you because it doesn't raise your heart rate or glycemic index or something like that.
These candies remind me of the time I was packing my backpack for a 4-day hike in the wilderness, and snacking on some sugar-free candies while doing it. The next day, driving 5 hours in a car, then hiking for half a day, was pure torture.
@catorch2450 for the sugar free jolly ranchers, it's 15g carbs for 4 pieces (3.75g per piece) where as regular jolly ranchers is 17g for 3 pieces (5.67g per piece). It's so damn close that there's no point to the sugar-free ones. I've been diabetic for almost 30 years. Sugar-free candy is a joke
3:26 - 3:48 that part reminded me of the "Have you ever had a dream that you, um, you had, your, you- you could, you’ll do, you- you wants, you, you could do so, you- you’ll do, you could- you, you want, you want him to do you so much you could do anything?" meme
As a Type I diabetic for 58 years, I appreciate the effort to make all the Zero sugar products. Yes, most fall short on taste but what other options are there?
Im not diabetic, but I have ASD and sugary foods taste extremely overly sweet to me. To the point where I can't handle most candy because the taste of sugar is so over powering. Zero sugar options are really great for me because I can finally enjoy something sweet that doesn't completely overload my taste buds
@@Sknottysame! I drank sugar free sodas and Gatorade years before I ever tried anything else sugar free. I have pcos and I won’t get sick by having a lot of sugar, but my body definitely does not like it.

14:58 The neighborhood watch was active in one area that I lived in. Not remotely like an HOA, but more like “be vigilante of suspicious things happening, and let neighbors know if things are happening”. They let me know a person ran into my neighbor’s shed, and they called the police. Person was running from the cops.
25 years ago, my husband and I accidentally got sugar free gummy bears thinking they were regular. My husband ate a whole pound and we have to leave the theater and came home and it was a rough night 😳🤣 lesson learned that day!
I read the comments before the video started and assumed “good mythical fart” was a reference to what’s gonna happen after all those sugar free candies 😅
Just joined fellas! Your shows are great! This coming from UNCW alumni class of 1998. Tarheel at heart, but Seahawk byproduct. Keep up the awesome work!
As a former librarian, and the daughter and friend of librarians...please don't. That type if behavior is a daily issue, please don't make librarians ' jobs harder. We have to put up with so much as is.
The first trip I went on with my girlfriend we went to a candy shop. She ate a big bag of sugar free gummy bears. She spent most of our weekend on the toilet! Maltitol has been avoided ever since! 💩
I have a lot of restrictions for my health and because of allergies so I have to enjoy these whether I like it or not! It’s nice to see you guys review them 😂❤
So this video is mainly about sugar free stuff, Sporked team, PLEASE try allulose. It is basically sugar but isn't as bad as sugar because it doesn't raise the heart rate or glycemic index. Something like that. They should taste allulose in stuff because allulose actually tastes good.
The "Dr. John's" brand is pretty good. It does contain xylitol, so if your pet gets into things it might not be a good choice. But they taste the best for hard candies.
I live in Wyoming. I work as a legal aid. My boss, lived on the east coast and was a physics professor, put himself through law school and is now an attorney. He also owns a almost a full section of land runs a cattle ranch as his retirement plan 😂
In Canada, there is Russell Stovers, who makes several sugar-free candies and chocolates, and the peppermint patties are the actual best ones in the world.
Love this so much. Zero sugar candies get me (diabetic) through my week sometimes. Keep it to just 2 pieces a day (maybe 4 on a rough day), and there's no intestinal violence. Love jolly ranchers, werthers, butterscotch buttons, cinnamon buttons and russell stover pecan delights. A lot of candies special made and marketed as sugar free are just weird tasting, so it's such a joy to find the really good ones. Thanks for this!
"This is bad. I'm gonna give this a 0"
"We're not even doing that." 😂😂😂😂
My middle schooler is getting ready for school and she can confirm that "good mythical morning...more like good mythical fart" is an epic joke. 😂
I can agree with that!
Especially after sugar free candy.
Look up allulose. It's easily the best sugar substitute I've tried. It looks like sugar and tastes like sugar but apparently is better for you because it doesn't raise your heart rate or glycemic index or something like that.
The way Link rolled his eyes
“Maybe somebody there said maltitol, sorbitol, or effitall…ya know what I’m sayin’” really tickled me
My uncle is both a retired admiral, and a cattle rancher in LaGrange, texas. I would never, ever describe him as jolly. He hates his cows.
Well they're probably not too fond of him either 😆
He’s probably never been to an Applebees either. 😆
😂😂😂
i feel bad for him. and the cows. why does he not do a job that makes him jolly?
@robopecha probably related to the "retired admiral" part
Having worked in libraries most of my life, what Rhett is describing is basically a daily occurrence.
I was going to comment the same thing! 😂
100%!
@@amyl7940 me too!
My best friend works at a library, and I thought "I think that happens to him every day already."
But WHY? 🤔
These candies remind me of the time I was packing my backpack for a 4-day hike in the wilderness, and snacking on some sugar-free candies while doing it. The next day, driving 5 hours in a car, then hiking for half a day, was pure torture.
You probably didn't recognize the rancher because of his clothes. He wasn't in "ranch dressing".
If you're a Diabetic, you need to watch the sugar alcohols. Too many of those will increase your blood sugar, just not as much as regular sugar.
Huh? I'm pre-Diabetic, and didn't know that. Thank you!
The zero sugar candies still have plenty of carbs and the carbs is what raises your blood sugar
I had wondered about that, thanks for saying.
Lily's candy uses stevia and is a better choice.

Try Lily's candy. It's easier on the tummy because they use stevia.

I do love how adamant they are about discussing the "Hersey squirts." It is nothing short of hysterical.

Not the library disrespectful 😭 i lovveee the library i really hope it stays forever
I dont know what Link ate today but he is spot on, quick witted, and hysterical! He is usually really funny, but this is a new kind 💗
"sorbitol, malitol or F it all" i love this man
