With that Betty Crocker bowl having a $35 price tag on it, my Goodwill would have priced it at $24.99 or $28.99. You're fortunate that your Goodwill still has reasonable prices :) Also, I agree with other comments that you are spoiling us with 2 videos a day this week, wow!! Thank you! Stay blessed 💖
That glass vase that had the purple tint. I would have picked it up for myself. Is it manganese that causes the purple? It must have been very old. I understand in takes a LOT of years to achieve the color.
I have 2, from my brother visiting Africa. I was told they are handmade in Africa, sold usually by the side of a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. The villagers cut them from a tree in one piece and hand scrape it out and paint it. They are all differently carved and shapes and have some animal on it. I’m not sure how to attach a pic or I would.
The pink suitcase would be an appropriate Mom's Hospital Bag (you love pink, you love pink...). It would make a statement arrival at the maternity ward!!
I really wish you had purchased the book on the cart, "Gifts from the Sea" by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. She was Charles Lindbergh's wife, and mother of the most famous case of kidnapping even today, that of Charles A. Lindbergh Jr. The poems are deeply beautiful and you can hear the grief, but despite the grief, her desire to live and be the best mother to her remaining children...the book is one of my all time favorites...
It’s been a long time, but I have noticed the last few months you have started thrifting at GW again and with not the same people. Still enjoy you and most of your endeavors.
Those prints were really nice if they were original and signed! My grandma goes to the thrift to get souvenirs from places she’s been to save a little cash haha.
So excited for the new arrival, you look stunning and flawless as always. You should have a virtual baby shower. We could spoil you and the new little Miss
That Partylite bowl at 13:20 is a 3-wick candle bowl in the "Tranquility" pattern. Probably one of those few Partylite pieces actually worth picking up.
Hello, you are so funny. I love that you can laugh at yourself, with the pregnancy brain. It for sure is a thing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I have learned so much from many of you. I have a space in a shop for myself to sell. So thankful.
Did you know that butterflies are a metaphor representing spiritual rebirth, transformation, change, hope and life. Maybe that's why your drawn to them now. Thanks for the 2 videos in 1 day.
I bought the same little boudoir lamp brand new for $14.99 a few years ago. It’s good as a night light in an area that you don’t want to be pitch black at night.
00:50 I'd go for that piece, especially with the provenance card included. 01:29 He's a bobblehead, but like a Kliban cat bobblehead. 01:48 It's a fifty-cent flat-wick tabletop ho-hum from what I can see. I wouldn't think it's worth the bother. 03:01 Is it really? Or is that by design? Counting down its spine, I get 1-2-and-3 spines grouped together which feels like intentional. Other than that, I think it's a Polyphemos from the Black Lagoon. 03:12 Yep, I'd call it as hobbyist but pretty dang good hobbyist. 05:13 Harold Feinstein was a VERY important photographer in New York from Mid-Century to the early 21st. This is probably one of the pieces copying his "scanography" prints (he figured out how to use a scanner as a camera, in 1998). You'll notice it's got a kinda 3-D effect to it. 05:37 No, luv ... PEE-uh-nees. They're incredibly, suffocatingly floral. Dagny is right to genteelly decline gagging after a hefty sniff. 06:17 They're bedsocks, and (this is a major concession, coming from me) cute. 06:27 Oh, a KiwiCo box! KiwiCo is a monthly subscription box meant for kids, intended to be both educational and Fun. That particular box is more aimed at the 3-to-6 set than at Juliette's age cohort. 08:32 It's a Thermos carafe model 2585, probably 1970s given that lucite handle. The original product tag's presence only adds. I would buy it. 09:06 It's called shisha (SHEE-shuh) and it's Indian. Much of it comes from the state of Rajasthan (RAHJ-a-stan) in the northwest. 09:29 Jurassic cornhole?? 😆 09:54 That wouldn't do at all badly. That's the sort of bag Alyks was using when we came to visit. They aren't highbrow (we got ours at Target) but they ain't bad either. 10:28 Joby or not, the knockoffs are nearly as good as the original. I wouldn't turn up my nose at it. (They're everywhere because at one time or another everyone's thought, "gee, I could make videos on UA-cam!" and bought one or two.) 11:37 Huh. That pertickler pair's Korean. (If she's tackling them at age seven or eight, I applaud her.) 13:04 GAAAHH RUN AWAY RUN AWAY!!! Glass cutting boards are absolute DEATH CHEWING ON A CRACKER for your knives! They're one of the fastest ways possible to ruin a good set of knives. Leave 'em for the ignorant, and instead sell good wood (or MAYBE plastic) cutting boards that won't blunt every knife blade edge you got. 16:41 Now *THAT* is excellent! Hurley Machine was the very first company to offer a proper electric automatic washer, before 1910. They adopted the brand of Thor and the trademark "automagic" (note the G) pretty early on. This ad still has a war-effort pennant at the bottom but the copy talks about post-war, suggesting this is a 1945 ad when the end of the war was in sight but not there yet. 17:37 The element manganese (Mn). It's also used to make purple colours in pottery glazes. 18:06 RUN AWAY AGAIN!! RUN AWAY!! The Star Micronics NX-1000 printer dates all the way back to 1989, and good effin' luck finding parts or supplies ANYWHERE for it. 18:32 Yeah, but this one has flowers on it.
The biggest challenge for resellers is knowing when you have the right flow of inventory. I'm a reseller and in yard sale season I get overwhelmed by my purchases sometimes. It is good to be selective.
When I was a military wife I sold Princess House. The lamp is 24% lead crystal and “has a deep tonal ring when lightly tapped”. Now you’re supposed to tap it, and the customers say “aaaahhhhh”. Lol
I love when you and Daffney go to Goodwill so much fun to see you together. Lots of great finds. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
The Vera weekender makes a great all day diaper bag. Great to use when you bring baby girl to the shop. Speaking of baby girl, how are you feeling? you look great!
Hope u looked in the case. I opened one once and it was full of shampoo and makeup. Gross!! I have the red and green apples. They came from dollar tree.
Magnesium turns glass purple. Jocelyn, just wanted to tell you that pregnancy looks amazing on you!! That craft kit would be good for Easter 🐣, unless you've already given it to her.
Hello banana bix fam!! I hope y'all are doing well this lovely Friday evening. Just a quick question. Are you ever going to do another hangout and chat? I love those when your just hanging out with all of us and answering random questions. I really miss them 😢 any whozers have a wonderful weekend everyone. 😊😁
The boudoir lamp is Princess House l think…..going by the one that my Mom got and now has given to my kiddo, l think it dates back to mid 80’s.
Yeah it is from the 80’s. That’s when I bought mine
Yep I have one just like it I bought it in 1987 I believe
Yes Princess House!! I have one that I bought directly:))
Things are changing for y,all so fast..soon you will be in your new home and have a brand new baby..your business has grown by leaps and bounds and y,all are living your best life .I have seen all these changes and continue to in the last few years..stay humble stay safe..have always loved watching y,all....God bless joycelyn to u and your family...
Thank-you, Mary! 🤗
I think the yellow vase that is leaded at the top is Partylite. I have a smaller votive exactly like it.
I think it is Manganese in the glass that turns it purple.
Hey everyone...Joc you are going to spoil us with this 2 video a day awesomeness
I want the little lamp
I love when you and Dagney shop together! So much fun!
Manganese turns antique glass purple. Arsenic does, too.
Manganese is the photochemical that turns the glassware purple.
With that Betty Crocker bowl having a $35 price tag on it, my Goodwill would have priced it at $24.99 or $28.99. You're fortunate that your Goodwill still has reasonable prices :)
Also, I agree with other comments that you are spoiling us with 2 videos a day this week, wow!! Thank you! Stay blessed 💖
It’s delightful going along with you two on your adventures. Thanks for including us….
The last Very Bradley purse is my choice this trip! Thanks for taking me along! I enjoy your videos!
I like that set of 3 roof top drawings - I’d definitely have picked those up
` I believe it is manganese that you were trying to think of for the turning purple glass.
I bet the boudoir lamp is Princess House. From the late 80’s/early 90’s. I remember those.
Beside the boudoir lamp was a copy of a Anne Lindbergh’s “the gift of the sea” good reading.
The coffee carafe were used in restaurants to leave at table with their cup. That’s a great deal on that suitcase too.
That glass vase that had the purple tint. I would have picked it up for myself. Is it manganese that causes the purple? It must have been very old. I understand in takes a LOT of years to achieve the color.
I think you're right that it's manganese.that makes the purple tint.
I would have picked up the elephant bowl as cracking is natural for wood and not really considered to be damage.
Ditto.
Yellow vase with leaded top is Partylite Paris retro- very nice line they had a long time ago!
The Vera bag wud make a good diaper bag
Yay you bought the Vera Bradley bag. I LOVE that bag!!!!
Great video. Love when you and Dagny shop
The pink suitcase would be an appropriate Mom's Hospital Bag (you love pink, you love pink...). It would make a statement arrival at the maternity ward!!
That figurine marked Thomas looks like a Thomas Blackshear figurine. He does African American Figurines and ornaments. They can be worth good money.
The lamp is princess house and I bought mine in the late 80’s
I have them also
That clear lamp you put in your cart is princess house, I know because I have one.
Mr too!
I always enjoy the goodwill videos.
My daughter has the same unicorn with the fake plant in it! We got it at Target! It is very cute!
Thanks for the fun video. The glass lamp is a Princess House Lamp, from late 80s or 90s.
That basket with the embroidered rooster is mass produced. I have a matching little picture (2 of them) and recipe box.
I really wish you had purchased the book on the cart, "Gifts from the Sea" by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. She was Charles Lindbergh's wife, and mother of the most famous case of kidnapping even today, that of Charles A. This was so fun! Always love going with you on your shopping trips!!
The Thor picture reading was hilarious! Super colusso funny🤣
I like the Cute lill boudoir lamp♡
Dresden is in Germany.
It’s been a long time, but I have noticed the last few months you have started thrifting at GW again and with not the same people. Still enjoy you and most of your endeavors.
I kick myself often for not doing my sons nursery up in classic Pooh. That lamp made me sigh ❤️❤️❤️
The wallet like item called shi sha mirrors
The duck bag was awesome...
That’s a nice suitcase! Rollies 360 degrees.
ikr and the price is fabulous.
Those prints were really nice if they were original and signed! My grandma goes to the thrift to get souvenirs from places she’s been to save a little cash haha.
That’s a great idea! Smart grandma 😉
So fun to watch you two girls together.
@12:34. Those might be fiesta salt and pepper
That lamp is princess house crystal.
Love that butterfly dish
Maria from New Zealand
You and Dagny compliment each other so well. Jocelyn you look 😍
So excited for the new arrival, you look stunning and flawless as always. You should have a virtual baby shower. We could spoil you and the new little Miss
Great idea! I’d love to send some money across as I live in the U.K. someone could pick something up for me!
Let’s start this rolling!
I love that bowl with the giraffes but I would have left it behind to with that crack
I just love that chippy chic pink wall teapot. Cannot wait until it is listed!!
Sort of looks like a birdhouse
The Betty Crocker bowl is made by Fiesta. That is their turquoise, goes $15 to $20
That Partylite bowl at 13:20 is a 3-wick candle bowl in the "Tranquility" pattern. Probably one of those few Partylite pieces actually worth picking up.
I can’t believe your Vera Bradley there was priced so low. Here they are rarely below $19.99.
So funny stop and smell, "OK"
So fun, a lot of neat finds. Lovey the mirror 🥰 Thank you ladies.
Hello, you are so funny. I love that you can laugh at yourself, with the pregnancy brain. It for sure is a thing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I have learned so much from many of you. I have a space in a shop for myself to sell. So thankful.
That tea pot thing to hang on the wall 🤣 . I think is a bird house.
Did you know that butterflies are a metaphor representing spiritual rebirth, transformation, change, hope and life. Maybe that's why your drawn to them now. Thanks for the 2 videos in 1 day.
Great minds, except I just figured pregnant! Lol liked yours better!
I bought the same little boudoir lamp brand new for $14.99 a few years ago. It’s good as a night light in an area that you don’t want to be pitch black at night.
I have that mouse kitchen timer.
Appreciate all the time you take for us subscriber's.... love the videos.
Dagnys so cute too

Loved those three "Insta-art" prints you and Dagney found.
The biggest challenge for resellers is knowing when you have the right flow of inventory. I'm a reseller and in yard sale season I get overwhelmed by my purchases sometimes. It is good to be selective.
I loved that Winnie the Pooh lamp - as you said - classic Pooh as in the original drawings, not the Disney version
Homegoogds and TJ Maxx sell Terramoto Ceramic. The patterns and colors are pretty, but the glazing chips very easily.
When I was a military wife I sold Princess House. The lamp is 24% lead crystal and “has a deep tonal ring when lightly tapped”. Now you’re supposed to tap it, and the customers say “aaaahhhhh”. Lol
😂 As soon as I get to the shop to list it, I’m going to tap test it.

I love those when your just hanging out with all of us and answering random questions. I really miss them 😢 any whozers have a wonderful weekend everyone. 😊😁
I asked the same question a couple of weeks ago. I've noticed she doesn't really respond to comments.
Oh “contrear” She answered mine last week to say she’s preparing ahead of baby for vids
Yeah shopping with Dagney I love it!
The crystal lamp is 80"s Princess House.
Princess House Romance lamp.
