@@elizabethvallely4044 thank you very much too, you are always welcome into my heart I really appreciate you for been there for me since all these years how long have you been a fan!!
Hi Kevin , these are similar to a recipe of yours I got on a newspaper a few weeks ago , ingredient weights are slightly different but the others taste delicious even though I had to try them a couple of times to get them right , now I AM 8 lb over weight 😋 I will give these a go, great to have video to watch . Thanks
Great recipe although I usually use a mix of milk and egg to bind the mixture. Must try with buttermilk. Love the way Kevin says about the egg for the egg wash "beat it up" :)
Just a confirming that the fine sugar you put in the scones is the same as the fine “powdered” sugar you top it with later or is the first sugar fine granulated sugar
If you don't have any buttermilk, you can substitute this for regular milk with a 50-50 mixture of plain (natural) yoghurt, or regular milk with some lemon juice or vinegar. 😊🥛
Thank you, I'm so wishing you had just shown us how you really wash your hands before making the scones and honestly maybe an apron on and remove the watch. I know I'm being picky but these are just things that would make it ever so much better and cleaner
Why did you not break one of the Scones and show your viewers the inside.... then spread some delicious jam and clotted cream! Is this not the way English people serve scones!😊
Love your Sunday magazine recipes I cut them out and keep them made your lemon meringue roulade it was so easy thank you 😊
Thankyou so much am looking forward to making these little gems soon . Lovely video.
Thank you so much, Kevin. Without doubt it's a marvelous option to cook!😄😚💖👍☘☘☘

Is there a link to the recipe? I know I could just watch it again and take notes but...
Not to just the recipe, Noel! Maybe pause it at the correct time, about 17 seconds in should do it! ☘️
How long in the oven? Is is 15 min or 50 min? Thanks
Hi it's Nathan Carter here from Ireland wishing you a happy day how are you?
It's 15 😊

The sugar that goes on top in the end is fine powdered sugar, Scott. 😊 Let us know how they turned out!

MAHALO! IM GOING TO MAKE THEM!
Can I use gluten free flour for this recipe
Sultana raisins ought to be added.... the scone will be tastier!
He’s got a great speaking voice
Can you use normal milk instead of buttermilk?😀
If you don't have any buttermilk, you can substitute this for regular milk with a 50-50 mixture of plain (natural) yoghurt, or regular milk with some lemon juice or vinegar. 😊🥛
Hi it's Nathan Carter here from Ireland wishing you a happy day how are you?
How much buttermilk do you use?
It needs 100ml of buttermilk, Peggy! The recipe is at about 17 seconds if that helps. 🙂
@@discoverireland Thank you! 😊 I didn't catch the amount from the video.
No problem! Let us know how they turn out. 😊
@@discoverireland They were great, but I need to cook them longer.
Practice makes perfect, Peggy! We're sure they must have come out delicious. 😋
Please list the ingredients on the screen if you don’t list them in the context so we can write them down or screen shot them. Thank you

Hi Kevin dundon.
If you are a Michelin chef why are you making olds wives recipes? I would like to see Michelin stars cooking.

Like my Nana used to make
Have you ever tried making them yourself, Crystal? 😊
How are you?
Not wearing an apron Kevin.
Half the dough went down the drain
Gorgeous!
