Last minute adjustment when he realised he didn't have that much room with the barrier, and undercut his trajectory. Landed badly on his arm and winded himself evidently. Very unlucky, hope him and Kip are OK after it.
The way he flipped he just barely missed landing on his head, so as bad as that landing was, it was close to being even worse. Scary stuff

@@hiscorewl3241 You need to get some sense in your skull and realise that Fenix made a last second adjustment and flew high rather than far. It was a small accident that nobody expected and is more no one's fault than anyone's fault. 2 people(kip and I couldn't tell who else) threw themselves to try and break his fall. Small accidents happen all the time and mostly end worse than this.

Given the circumstances, and how they're relatively new still, I want to give some leeway. I can forgive the occasional "hiccup" for safety and execution...but some of these looked a bit cringe. Hoping for better in the future.
It happens in wrestling. What I'd say is that if you ain't a wrestler yourself, dont overcriticise stuff like this
ehh, when it comes to a spot like this where there's a ton of people, you'll basically see everyone just "waiting." Not really much you can do. During a match you can cover up the waiting by being winded after taking a bump or something, but these guys are all bunched up going one by one. Also, given the circumstances, I'm willing to bet the production crew has limited TV angles they can cut to because they don't want to make it extremely obvious that the arena is empty (even though we all know it is). A bit sloppy? Sure, especially Rey Fenix's dive, but not horrible. Could have definitely been worse.

The director was so fixated by Kip Sabian sitting on the ladder that a clean view of Rey Fenix's crotch shot to Orange Cassidy was missed. Announcers watching the monitor had to scramble for a second to note the low blow. The devil is in the details.
Focus on the in ring action is why I say or use the hard cam to get it all.

I lack words to describe how good this match was. One of the best I've ever seen. Very good from start to finish. I just expected to see Orange Cassidy winning. He never wins. I hope that in the future there will be a huge push because he is very incredible in the ring

two super entertaining and exciting talents to watch. the after match chaos definitely built excitement for the PPV this weekend but I did get a bit worried about both Fenix and OC in those dives to the outside. Hope neither are injured.

In the space of two minutes Fenix and Cassidy botched or near botched a high spot. Sabian could easily have hurt himself trying to save them..And it wasn't even in a match. That was fucking stupid. I am all for it during a match but I prefer it being safe rather than spectacular.

After that Fenix dive that no one caught, they kept up the tradition by not catching Cabana either, then followed that up by no one catching Orange as he clattered has ankles/shins on the guard rail and elbowed Sabian in the face. It went pretty all things considered.
I just wish these lads didn't have to resort to hurting themselves.
