Thanks for sharing your fave and comparing it to another product. I too have high porosity hair and I ❤️ Natty Naturals Moisturizing Leave in Conditioner and Karen’s Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia. I can use Knot Today, but it is not as moisturizing as my faves. Also, I can use my faves to re-moisturize and re-style on dry hair. Others that I like are Koils by Nature’s Leave in, Smooth Naturals Hair Treat, and Oyin Hair Dew.
Wow those sound like some awesome picks! I used to love Karen's Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia when I was transitioning! I don't remember what scent I got it in, but it smelled so good lol. I might re-visit that. It's been such a long time since I've used it
I've been looking for an alternative to Kinky Curly Knot Today. As much as I love this product, it leaves a white residue when mixed with my other staple products...Eco Styler Gel and Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie. I'm more than eager to give this a try.

Hey Remonde! I actually tried Latte & Honey. Honey is veryy moisturizing but I get major shrinkage with it I can't even wear my hair down or else it'll be a mess lol. It's good if I plan to bun my hair for the week but otherwise it's one of those products thats too humectant rich for my high porosity hair!

I was considering buying the Camille rose leave in because it is glycerin free so when I use up my Giovanni direct leave In I will try it. Did you have to use a lot of the Camille rose ? Also I recently bought that carol’s daughter cream and I like it so far.
Not really!! I used a good amount but I didn't have to be heavy handed with it. I feel like im more heavy handed with knot today, but its cheaper so I don't mind using more lol

I’ve been meaning to try the Margarites magic . I have the hair milk line and not particularly fond of the smell. But I love the cream . Hopefully their the same in performance.

What is the difference between a leave in conditioner and a cream?Do they do the same thing? Also is a cream the same as a butter and are both the same as a leave in conditioner?I currently have Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Leave in, and I use a mix of oils for my seal but I don't have anything else other than Cantu Shea Butter leave in Conditioner which is thick and creamy. I have high porosity hair like you but thick instead of thin. I think I experienced short term protein overload & ur videos really helped on repairing it so Im trying not to overload it again.I prefer to put my leave in in my hair and then my oil and twist my hair.After watching a couple vids I might do a protein treatment biweekly but don't know any good moisturizing products. The main line I used is SM but have been branching out to see what works for my hair since recently going natural and seeing what works. Also do you use any creams or leave ins that goes in your hair easily( without too much rubbing that may cause frizz?). Sorry for all the questions and thanks for your help :)

Hey Lee Lee! Thank you girl 😘 The CRN feels more moisturizing when applying but in terms of moisture retention they're about even. My hair got dry by day 3 with CRN and with Knot Today its about the same ; Yes! I'm planning to film a week in my natural hair soon.

Happy belated birthday!!!! I have a question do you prefer twist out over wash and go and why ? Never have tried twist out before on my daughters hair maybe I should try this to retain moisture and curl definition because wash and go doesn’t last more than a day with her.
Thank you so much! I prefer twist outs. I can wear my hair for 7 days straight in a twist out if I wanted to. With my wash n gos I only get a good 3-4 days. Then my hair is too tangled to wear it out after that. For twist outs I highly recommend Carol's Daughter Marguerite's Magic as a styler.
Afro Khadisiac once again thank you for the prompt response. Do you have a video where you explain and show how to do a twist out step by and and more importantly how to sleep with them. I can’t put a cap on my daughter. Could I use the pineapple method with twist outs on her ? Like I do with her wash and go (but now thanks to you I will begin using the banding method to see if this will help keep her curls defined).

For how to maintain twist outs, I do the pineapple method & it works great. I used to band my twist outs, but it made my hair flat. I just use the banding method to preserve my wash n gos now.

Thank you beautiful! & Happy Early Birthday!!!! 🎉 🎉 Mielle Organics Pomegranate & Honey Leave is definitely similar to these as well in terms of slip & moisture, but it lacks in the shine department. I feel like with Mielle I don't get a lot of shine with that leave in compared to others. Still love it, but wish it made my hair shiny like the others

Hi Jazmyne! Yes, I've played around with both methods. The L.O.C. is ok for my hair, but I don't get as much shine or definition with that one, I feel. The L.C.O always worked best for me.

Sure. I mean Kinky Curly I've used for years and I love it. It does everything CRN Coconut Water does & it's cheaper. The only advantage CRN coconut water has over Kinky Curly is a bit more definition but nothing major. I would say this twist out looks pretty similar to my other twists outs I've done using knot today. They're both good, but if price is a major factor just go with knot today lol. You'll love it. Knot today is still my staple because it is cheaper.
