- Royal Enfield have just launched their lightest, most compact and sportiest motorcycle yet with the Hunter 350! The first RE bike to feature a 17 inch front wheel, it has been designed from the ground up to rule the streets with the refinement of the J platform 349cc engine to boot. And with a disruptive pricetag of Rs. 1.5L for the Retro variant and 1.69L for the full loaded Metro variant, it is primed to do just that as the most accessible motorcycle in the Royal Enfield family. But how is it to ride? Sarge flies all the way to Bangkok to find out!

Those 17" alloys make me hope and wonder if they would retro fit the Interceptors/GTs, in which case we could finally have an answer to the front wheel alloys🙌🏻
Not sure you can retro fit them
I was hoping for the same but the disc mounting is quite different
You could change the entire front for it to fit.
@@benjohnhuidrom98 if you're swapping with the hunter front end, that would mean a downgrade to a 300mm rotor. The 650s are heavier and faster motorcycles, not an ideal solution.
You can wait for the Hunter 650, or the Shotgun 650, those bikes will be fitted with alloys.

@@SagarSheldekarOfficial I think what he means is the alloy wheels and modern touches. I am waiting for the upcoming 650 as it has USD, alloys, exhausts which don't strain the legs of the passenger and a better instrument cluster.

07:37 maybe the heat you're feeling was because of the foot pegs position since the Hunter has a more sporty position opting the riders to close their legs nearer the engine unlike with the Classic with a more laid back riding position.

Great review as always👌🏼🤟🏼, just wondering, as RE has reduced the weight by a almost 14 kgs, why would the performance still be same in terms of 0-60/100? Considering the fact, this is more sportier, lighter and road friendly it should be fast.
There is a slight improvement in the performance bt this engine anyway is designed for cruising. If you hammer it you will hate it. Do like and share to help us grow

It's similar to the classic 350. Meant for cruising all day comfortably at 90kmph

Great review as usual and good lord, what a beautiful bike the Hunter is, but just one point of concern from my end to the videography team- towards the 11ish minute mark when you start with your closing remarks, I could notice lens flare creeping in, specially when the angles were panning side to side as you were talking. Maybe, that could be taken care of in the next videos as to some it could bring down the visual quality of the video.

17inch wheels mean you are better connected to what the front is doing, makes for a more nimble motorcycle. I think this platform is great for customization as well. Will look cool as a cafe racer

Great review as always. Atleast from the review, specifications and pricing, it seems to be a promising product from RE. Hope they have addressed the quality and refinement issues which the previous gen RE’s had. My cousin’s standard 350 which was purchased last year is a disaster when it comes to quality.

Great review , honest first impressions which RE will not rectify for couple of years , This bike will bring down the market value of the other 250 to 350 cc bikes and will also devalue the resale price of older classic 350.

Hey Sarge, I wanted to know your suggestion for good beginner bike at around 2.5L. I had shortlisted - Gixxer sf 250, rc 200, honda cb 350rs, husky swartpilen(although seems a bit cramped for taller ppl). What is your sugggestion?

Welcome SARGE its a delight to see you reviewing this fresh new piece of iron , what i noticed was the wheel base should have been a few millimetres more so that the bike would have been more proportionate and the exhaust design would have been better in terms of looks else meteor engine very smooth one and your review smoother than that❤

Little to my surprise Sarge!! I was watching you video while waiting for my turn for test ride of this bike on the showroom 😂.
