Lots of people want to have semi work week hours...so there's benefit to helping out. You can pursue fulfilling quality time in specific passions...as homes have alot of opportunities...in my opinion. From sustainable gardening, fiber creation, pet care, making lots of foods & drinks from scratch, dairy, wheat, juices. It's nice to be a creative at home & give lots at a business for short amount of time. It sounds like you have good reasons to shape a team experience to give a fun enjoyable cafe break for people 🛍💁💖 👞👟👠👢

Hello Belle ...coming from your moms channel i can see and feel the spirit you have from your mom and now you as your own individual....love it! I myself have never enjoyed a job more that working in a coffee shop but for me it was a second job when i had my children. I worked from 8 to 3 with my sister in a cafe then from 11 pm to 7 am ....getting them off to school and sleeping till they got home at 330...it was a challenge but i loved that job...glad to see you following your passion and not doing what everyone else is doing..aka going to college and finding out that is not what makes you happy...not everyone is cut out for a certain life experience...Have fun and enjoy all that comes with being a business owner!
I have worked with the public in retail for 44 years, and I have learned so much from experience. I now with all my being believe in your attitude to successfully working with your emloyees. If they believe they belong, they will be the best they can be at their job. You will undoubtedly end up with the occasional troublemaker, but keep the attitude you have, the experience you gain from your successes will guide you over the rough bits. It’s not about the coffee alone. Coffee shops are about community. I go all the time to get work done and be around people. Working at home can really stink in the winter and I love to spend the morning at a coffee shop watching people come and go and reminding myself that everyone is doing their best. You have such a great attitude, work ethic and the right mindset to create a place of respite for a world hungry for kindness (and good coffee!)

I'm really sorry that you've had awful treatment from employers 😢.. its awful and especially towards the younger work force! Many employers treat the youth like a used paper towels and it's absolutely disgusting! Something needs to happen to stop the ill-treatment of our future because that is what every young adult is all our future and we should nurture & Support you and everyone else!
