Margot Betti Frank: Her Life in Pictures

- This video pays tribute to the memory of Margot Betti Frank, most notably the older sister of famous diarist Anne Frank. This video focuses on her life through photographs, mostly in chronological order. Though Margot lived until 1945, no photographs of her past 1942 exist. She died alongside her sister in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp of a typhus infection, at the hands of the Nazi regime.
*NOTE: The photograph shown at 2:06 shows a little girl with some sort of doll on the deck of the Franks' home in Frankfurt, Germany. Some sources have cited this to be a photograph of Margot. However, as the child in this photograph looks a bit older than Margot would be in May 1927 (when the photograph was dated by hand in Edith's penmanship) I can only assume that this may be a neighbor or relative instead. The child is holding a Chonky Horsman doll.
