Nintendo World Store Tour UPDATE - April & May 2012 (Ep. 21)

- This is an in-depth look/tour UPDATE on the changes made at the Nintendo World Store since my last video tour back in November & December 2011. This time around, the focus will be on the Nintendo museum and showcase, and also areas that I did miss covering previously. So be sure to watch the video in it's entirety.
There were subtle additions to the museum, but the showcase is where the most changes had taken place. They focused on showing various Nintendo franchises with many items and games pertaining to each franchise respectively. Some of the notable franchises displayed are Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey Kong, F-Zero, Star Fox, Kirby, Earthbound, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Chibi-Robo!, Pikmin, and Pokemon. An interesting fact was many of the items displayed are actually from the staff members of the store itself. They were pretty cool to give me a personal tour and allowed me to record this video for everyone to enjoy.

As someone who lives very close to NYC, here's a good tip. Be sure to look up and take advantage of tourist discounts throughout the city, including taxis. I wish I could take advantage of them. Have a great trip !

Never expected that they would make so much place for Fire Emblem in the museum part.
I'm also quite happy that the Mother series got a part in that.
One day in my life, I have to cross the pond and go there too.
I'm two consoles in the future from this video, one of them is called the "Wii U." It's basicly the Wii but in HD and with an extra screen, and the Nintendo Switch which is a hybrid of a console and a handheld.
Awesome video Danny! That Nintendo showcase looks amazing. I'm making my 2nd trip to Nintendo world this summer, can't wait!
I have to go there again. I still remember that gameboy that got burned in the gulf war, thing still works even though the buttons were melted into the case. Probably have to go there this Friday and see what merchandise they have now.

Awesome! The only time I went there was a few weeks before the 3DS launch. Got the Mario Coffee mug and Yoshis for my kids. :D

Why would Nintendo showcase a yellowed SNES!? They could've at least found a new version that doesn't yellow. It is, after all, one of the best consoles they've ever made. How can such an awesome company display such a gross looking system and be proud of it's history?
