I got tears seeing Kaylee giving the ball to Sadie and seeing her learning to hold it at only 3 months! It reminded me of the kinds of things they do in Montessori schools, called "scaffolding"... I think it's the very best way for a child to grow and learn. What great parents you both are!

I’m new here and while watching, all I kept thinking is that little babe needs a hat. I have a 15 month old granddaughter and I used to tell my daughter constantly about she needs a hat, even if she’s in that cocoon car seat. We live near Buffalo NY. Cold and snowy winters. You definitely need a hat so grandma bought plenty for all seasons. I see plenty of hat comments from all us mothers and grandmas it makes me laugh. It’s like our job to pass that info on. I would say everyone could send her a hat from all different places around the world but then they would have to add on a room. Lol🧑🏻‍🚒

I build tiny houses for a living. Every customer that watches UA-cam always wants a tiny wood stove. I always steer them away from them and urge them to get a larger model. Some listen...some don't. The ones that don't always end up swapping out within a month or two once they realize that they can't get a restfull night because the burn time is barely 3 hours if lucky. They are cute. But they are useless.

You need to lower that wood stove a bit ...the lower the stove the more efficient it will heat as heat rises another point is put an eco fan on top of that little stove and it will push the heat around you area and heat better as well. I know you dont need a ton of heat but on those days that are wet or a touch cold you rlittle stove can do much better. Keep that little one safe and good to see you back in Panama! Try and keep the door closed it produces more BTU that way and load it right up as full as you can its the coal that give you the most heat. ALways use HARDWOOD higher BTU and hotter fires vs softer woods. Just some FYI from someone that has the exact same stove in my ice fishing shack and how I found it to work best even in super cold climates.

My mom always had to put either a bandana or some kind of hat on me to cover my ears whenever it was windy until I was around 8 years old. I'd get ear infections easily from wind as the tubes in little one's ears are straight until they get older. Thankfully they didn't have the whole tubes in the ear drum thing as they do now or I would have most certainly had that done. My sister didn't have that problem, so all kids are different. But babies do loose heat from their heads as we all do. Her development is very impressive. It's not just you thinking that as her parents. May the Lord continue to bless and keep your farm family safe, healthy, happy and united in your goals.

Just want to say your little girl is beautiful and I admire the determination you both have to live your Best Life!!
The "Mother" in me wants to tell you that if the air is chilly enough to wear a jacket or a long sleeve, then your baby girl needs a toboggan on her head to keep her from getting an earache or sick....but I won't tell you that. 😉🙂🙃

I am so glad I found your channel. I’ve been watching you guys for about a year now and it is very exciting and inspiring to see your hard work and innovation. My husband and I built a place and lived off grid for years. We loved it! I’m getting older so we now live on grid, but if electricity goes out (for whatever reason) and we have no running water, we have prepared and accumulated everything we need to survive. You are both an inspiration and your baby is beautiful. She is growing up in the most healthy environment possible. You guys are great parents! Much Aloha From Hawaii. 🤙🏽

Love each an every videos you make. Just one suggestion, if you could build an outdoor mudroom attached to the doorway connected with some kind of raised flooring.. I think it will save a lot of floor cleaning, since Sadie is the main priority now, clean flooring makes a lot of sense now. Love from Mizoram

Sadie's adorable! I would keep a hat on her little head at all times. Protect her ears from the wind. Ear infections are so painful! And, sorry, the grandmother in me can't stand to see her on the floor with the draught either! A number one rule with a little one. Never, never put them in a draught on the floor. Don't you have a little basinet for downstairs? Something just set up on a couple of wooden boxes is all you need!

Great video! Must feel good to be back on the farm. Loved the knowledge about the coffee. What an exciting business. There is a YT channel that's fun to watch called Tyler and Todd. What they just built would be fantastic for you! It's a beautiful dome home. It's amazing what they've done in a year, just like what you two accomplish in such a short time. ♡
