Yes she is Very young, she wrote all her songs and she also plays many music instruments and she never took music lessons, Yes, she is amazing
PLEASE do ALL of her stripped versions of her songs! She is seriously mindblowing. I've been following her for years and shes finally starting to get some recognition but nowhere near what she should be getting. Shes absolutely phenomenal.
Tears of Gold (stripped) is the most popular but seriously every song is S teir quality with her vocal talent and her lyrics!

This is one of her best songs.
If you watch/listen to her earlier, you can see that she works through her songs, making changes along the way, and she has really improved her vocals over her teenage years. Seems she’s always been musical, and started lessons in piano at an early age. But where she’s at now, is a combination of natural talent and inclination, exposure to music in many forms, and a lot of hard work. As it is with most amazing musicians.

Glad to see you do more Faouzia! The Novia Bachmid cover of this song is nice - she has a very unique sound to her voice - but I don't think she has Faouzia's vocal skill/agility. I hope you'll keep doing more Faouzia - I'd probably recommend "How It All Works Out (Stripped)", "You Don't Even Know Me (Stripped)", "Bad Dreams (Stripped)" next...there's plenty more but those are probably her most popular songs that are right on her normal style. Also her song Minefields with John Legend...I recommend the Live on the Today Show version but you should also hear her sing it live/solo at her Arab Heritage concert. Plenty more if you want it! Thanks for the great reactions! PS: Yeah she just turned 21, writes her own lyrics, plays her own instruments on these songs, etc. Oh and she's also still in school working on an Engineering degree.

Yes Faouzia is amazing... She sings in French, English and her mother tongue (I dare you - a song with and from Kelly Clarkson - translated by faouzia and her parents to her mother tongue)
There are 2 amazing versions of desert rose a cover of sting where she sang Arabic as well...

In that video she was only 19. Now she’s 21.
The video was published Nov 1, 2018 so that would make her 18 when the video put on youtube. Not sure when she actually recorded it.
