I saw this video today and I made it today too. But I messed it up, or so I thought, I left out the coconut oil and realized it right after I poured it into the pan. So I continued with the matcha tea and finished it. It taste delicious, and looks beautiful . Next time I’ll try it with the oil.

Hi Wil ,I finally got around to making your matcha cheesecake and it came out better than I expected! I was a little bit short of cashews so I used raw peanuts, can't tell the difference. I blended the crust a bit too long though .You know , I was too heavy handed with the matcha,so I had to dip into the filling when making the pattern on the cake and guess what when I cut it,it came out as marbled matcha cheesecake.It tasted really great ,we enjoyed it.It went well with the main dish,I made Shio ramen with Kobu broth.It was light and easy to make,perfect on a winter day.I had to double the amount of your recipe,too many mouths to feed here... You made everything looked so easy though ,😏🤔 I am checking yr recipes at random,still waiting for your cookbook. Hope your day has been grand.

I've tried this recepie and I thought it needs something a bit stronger in order to make her more like a cheesecake because once I take it out of the freezer it gets really soft, but in general it's a very tasty cheesecake so thank you for sharing this 😊 Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹

Yes,it was an amazing meal ,thank you so much...I am trying to try out all of yr recipes though I am playing catch up as I only discovered yr.cooking channel.I had seen other channels but yours are simple yet so tasty and can easily be adjusted for family.I managed to get black vinegar,I love it and that dehydrated tofu sticks ,please do you have other ways of cooking them... We had them in Singapore ,they cooked them with black fungus !! Your matcha cheese cake was really clever, I bet if I were to put it our local cafe it ,it would be a sell out !! Was the cake esp. the filling,your own creation?
I’ve made the cashew cheesecake years ago but at that time it was terrible actually 😅 since then I’ve been making it again with slight difference and this one was the best 🥳

Will this cake be firm enough to keep its shape when not frozen? I do not like frozen cheese cake but love it at room temperature. Can one stiffen the mixture with some agar agar?

If you soak the cashews overnight in water it will soften them enough to liquify. A high powered blender omits this step 😊
