Thank you so very much! Project Sam is awesome! Hello from Texas USA! Your playing is absolutely amazing!
This is just amazing. Simeon always brings / shows these amazing libraries to their full sonic potential. Simeon should be making movie soundtracks 😊🎹🎼🎥🎞📽🎬❤
Greetings from Ukraine! What a great walkthrough and nice playing, really illustrative 😊
Thank you for these wonderful videos. I got the first one. I'm hoping to get the second one soon. God bless you for all your hard work.
BRAVO!!!!!…. BRAVOOOO!!!🎉🎉!!!!… you can tell you love to play music… sounds amazing!!!… you just start smiling without even realizing you’re smiling…😊
Watching you enjoy that Barmitzvah sounding patch was amazing. "HEY!" 😂
Yes, it is so surprising at times where the libraries take me, I just go along for the ride. Thanks so much for watching.
You are my inspiration! Greetings from Argentina
Boy, you really know how to bring the best out of these sounds, amazing work. What is your training background?
I started playing around five years old. I have no formal training, just a little piano when I was younger, but had problems with that since my ear was at work listening to how the pieces were played and I repeated them. 🤓
I have been blessed to have had so many wonderful musical experiences over the years that have contributed to my being able to access so many different areas. I am very grateful and pray that I continue to grow. Thanks so much for the kind words and support. Joyfully!
I am so glad I found out about your channel a couple months back, you are one of my favorite channels! Keep up the amazing videos also, you are a fantastic player every time you play it really pulls me into the music, it inspires me to keep practicing!
Was JUST waiting for this walkthru Simeon... From your hands... Thanks so much for this run thru..... 🤓👍👍
Rezi, it is always a pleasure. I am grateful to have these opportunities. Joyfully!
Thanks for this fantastic overview. Am definitely going for this library.
Once again, your demonstration seals the deal for me! Definitely picking these up!
This is just amazing.
Thanks again for your fantastic presentation of those libraries.
It is my pleasure Fabian, thank you for the kind support.
Incredible! A good orchestral all in one vst was the only thing lacking in my setup, this video literally made me get this as I watch my NI access is installing it. Watching a few other vids and looking a few other plugins this one just got me instantly. Nothing you pulled up was 'bad', every patch is A1 down to every subtlety. You play really well, pulled lot's of emotions out of me and I know the instruments are what's being showcased but we play similarly so I was smiling and vibing the whole video. +1 subbed.
Thank you for your demo of Project Sam's Essential Orchestra and Free Orchestra Simeon. I also love your playing with library sounds and your piano skills a lot!
fantastic review.....A+
great stuff
You are a very kind and talented artist, and the armonies you use are really beutiful! All the best!
Thanks so much, I love having the opportunity of sharing with you. Joyfully yours!
I have purchased this today and I'm truly impressed how packed it is within the discount. One can seriously score with this package or make full orchestral track. As beginner I would get Orchestral Essentials 1 and Free Sam orchestra. It offers more than Nuclues lite in terms of possibilities for total beginner I think. They blend together so well thought.
Amazing! Thanks for the video!
My pleasure Joe, thanks for watching.
Muito bom! Excelente instrumento e um excelente músico!
Picking up Essentials 2 this week. Good con sordino strings is one thing I'm missing with some of the string libraries that I already own.
Thank you for the thorough walkthrough!
Always my pleasure. Thanks so much for watching.
Thank you! Your review here caused me to immediately purchase these!
My pleasure. I think these are great packages, especially cine they have updated them, it adds so much value. Thanks for watching. Joyfully.
I recognized "The Snowman". Really nice review on these.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I truly enjoy what Project SAM is doing, amazing instruments.
God bless you, Simeon!
I love this stuff 😀
Amazing instruments and demo!
Thank you 🙏
Amazing review, thanks!! Do you have any plan on reviewing all other ProjectSAM libraries?
Great demonstration as always! You sound like you should be scoring movies! I would really like all three of these libraries, but I am still one operating system too young for the Essentials volumes. Thankfully, I can install the Free Orchestra on my computer though. I suspect the reason why High Sierra is a requirement for the Essentials libraries is because of the way they are registered through Native Access. One day I'll get there...
The same here. Kontakt requires a newer OS than High Sierra you're right.
Very interested
Hey my friend, yeah this is a great package as you get some very useful and high quality orchestral material to get you up and running. Thanks for watching. Joyfully.
That was the best library demonstration I've ever seen and your performances are absolutely brilliant! You had my eyes welling up and my heart exploding a few times. 😁
I'm completely sold on buying the OE1 library now (and probably 2 later) and I just want to see if I can do it through an affiliate link so that at least you get a little kickback. Does the link in your pinned comment do that? 🤔
As a former Washington Cathedral choirboy back in the '80s, I spent so much time in the church that it completely burnt me out of religion but your wonderful disposition and inspiring performances might bring me back into the fold if you keep it up. 🙏
Peter, thank you so much for the kind words and encouragement. I am not affiliated with Project SAM or Native Instruments. Project SAM was very kind to send me a copy of both Orchestral Essentials volumes for the showcase. I do however have links in the description that provide additional ways that you can support the channel.
My true joy comes from cultivating a day to day relationship with my Heavenly Father and realizing the depth of His love and care for me. Each day provides new opportunities to be grateful and even in the difficulties that I encounter know that I am not alone in my struggles, and that helps me to stay joyful.
I am grateful for your kind support and look forward to many more Joyful Journeys ahead.
Simeon, thank your for your nice walkthrough. I'am tempting to buy EW Opus for a discount price but 1TB of their sounds, uff, too much for my PC. It looks like I will buy these SAM libraries. They sounds great together. And current price is great too. 🙂
Opus has a ton of content. What the Orchestral Essentials provide is a collection of bread and butter sounds to get you up and running quickly. The limitation is the ensemble approach but that is also one of the plusses as again it helps you to get an idea sketched out rather quickly. After that then a package like Opus would help fill in some of the finer details but I agree that these packages are a tremendous value in the quality that they provide.
@@PraiseTracks Yes, I fully agree with you. Thank you for your answer, Simeon!
Hey Simeon, I am contemplating either getting Albion One (50% off any library right now) or Orchestral Essentials 2 since it's only $75 for me right now so I still have some money left for a better choir, Tina Guo acoustic cello legato, spitfire originals frozen strings/intimate grand piano and things like that. Do you have any advice on which one to go with?
What you think about session strings pro 2? Is it worth it?
This sounds awesome. Am I being fooled by Simeon's great rig? Seems like such a great deal, even for someone like me who loves Nucleus from Audio Imperia.
Hopefully no tomfoolery is involved 🤓The reason I have so much fun is that I let the sounds pull it out of me, it is like they are in the driver’s seat and I am merely a passenger enjoying the ride. Also not that unless I specifically say, I never apply any additional effects to alter the sound you are hearing, I want it to be as authentic as I can. Thanks so much for watching. Joyfully!
@@PraiseTracks Thanks, I appreciate the demo!
Love your work with Skippy and Unify!
Anyway, maybe you can help me with this. I'm a little confused about OE(1) vs. OE2. Does the special price include both, i.e. If I put OE in my cart via your link and buy it, will I get OE2 as well? It seems like they're priced separately on the site.
And in terms of how the library is implemented/browsed, are they separate sets of NKIs or do the v2 ones replace the old ones with the upgraded features/articulations? Seems like it would be a real pain if every time I want to say choose some strings I have to manually jump back and forth to figure out which one of the strings ensembles is better or improved or what is different.
I'm especially interested in the Multis. Are they in both 1 and 2?
Peter, these are independent titles, but the way the sale is set up, it is like being able to get both titles for a little less than if you were to purchase a single volume at regular price, you can of course just purchase Vol. 1 or Vol. 2 separately. Also if you get the Free Orchestra and register that before purchasing OE, then you would qualify for the UPGRADE pricing which would allow you to save even more.
Regarding the browsers, they are again separate and independent from one another as you are dealing with individual titles. In the video I had all three libraries loaded inside of KONTAKT so they were in a stacked “MULTI” setup, I had the other titles muted when playing the featured preset.
As far as selecting and comparing patches, there is really not an overlap regarding the two titles, they are complimentary as OE2 adds some additional articulations not present in OE1. I probably did not demonstrate the browser very well as I was just learning how to use it myself, but it is very powerful and once you wrap your head around how the sounds are it makes it easy to create your own combinations and save them as a custom snapshot (I will have to see if they can be saved in the main browser).
I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and for the kind support! Joyfully!
The designs looks kinda like spitfire
Symphobia 2 or OE 1 + OE 2? I have OE1 already and I am considering my next purchase. thanks!
Dan, looking at the Project SAM website it seems Symphobia 2 has a LOT of possibilities. The Orchestral Essentials seem to only give you a taste and the full Symphobias bring the full meal. Symphobia 2 might be geared a little bit toward a thematic approach but I would say have a listen to some of the demos and compare the instrument and articulation list, that should provide a little more context. I really need to see if they could send some of the Symphobia titles my way to take a deeper look. Thanks so much for watching. Joyfully!
@PraiseTracks thanks. Absolutely. Symphobia 2 is rich and a must-have. However, I went for the OE2 now to experiment and learn. What a beautiful flute tone they have! I'll keep an eye out when you do any other videos on Symphobia 2. Thank you for taking the time to reply.
Which vst displays the chords you play? THANKS
I use an app called MIDICULOUS PRO from Gospel Musicians. You can find more information about it in the link down in the video description. It is a very powerful tool for learning and has many implications for musicians. Thanks for watching.
Do you also have something of slate+ash?
Dirk, I have not had an opportunity to work with Slate + Ash, but their instruments look very interesting. I always suggest viewers reach out to developers and mention what I am doing on the channel, this helps get me in their radar. Thanks for the kind support.
Thank you Simoen. I always enjoy your videos. I uploaded the first classical style music I ever wrote to UA-cam. If you feel like checking out I would appreciate. I like a nice critique thank you. Gosh they really have developed it haven't they. I bought a Modal Cobalt5s last year. B it is great. Do you use hardware too?🙏
