That's cool. I know lots of Americans don't get our comedy and vice versa. He was definitely one of a kind. Carrot in a box 1 and 2 was so funny. So basic, but hilarious. 😁 I miss his quick reactions and wit. 😢
I think Sean himself said this either on 8OOTC or one of his stand ups. He said that apparently a person dies twice. They die once when they die but then they die a 2nd time when they are no longer remembered. And even though he may be gone from the physical realm, his comedy is forever immortalised in the Internet so he can never die that 2nd time he will always be remembered.
Ironically.. Hemmingway (1899), who originally said that thing about a man dying twice.. nicked the idea that personal identity is tied to consciousness and memory rather than the soul or body off John Locke (1632).. (Essay Concerning Human Understanding) So, we kind of went full circle now attributing it to: Sean Lock (1963).. Killing both Hemmingway and John Locke for the second time with one stone in a beautiful temporal carambole. They had a good run..
