put quite a few of these bumpers together when I was panel beating, the original supplied bars and brkts although tedious, went together well. Then previously damaged bars that had been repaired and rechromed came about, a lot of these were absolute shite to refit.....
I never had any trouble with the original bar. The ends of the repro bar were angled in towards the body more,
causing a heap of issues

we thought about buying repro bumpers but weren't happy with the quality and there not chrome plated its spray chrome
for a few hundred more we had our originals done

I'm very happy with the quality. My old bumper had alot of rust and a couple of dents. It's hard to find a good chrome plating business. I had alot of stuff plated years ago and it all rusted. I guess I'll look after it more this time. I have ceramic coated my bumper inside and out and will recoat it regularly.
Good video mate. Im just about to install mine. I tried before but ended up stripping the thread on the chasis bolts because the rear two bolts didnt line up. Will need to repair the thread and reinstall.

@@davohq1724 Well well well, I managed to get my bumper on on the weekend, scratched the crap out of the nose cone, only to realise that you the lights must go in before the outter brackets get mounted to the bumper. You may want to mention that. pain in the but!!!!!!!
@@italianganga you can get the indicators in after the bumper is in place. I found out afterwards when I didn't want to take the bumper off again to get them on
@@davohq1724 How do I get them on mate? There doesnt seem to be enough clearence to get it in place
@@davohq1724 Its the whole indicator assembly - I didnt mount it to the bumper, How did you manage to get yours in mate? It took me a whole day to get my bumper on and then it was so upsetting that I couldnt get the assembly in where it should be because the outter brackets in the way.
