The last Reliable Toyota Tacoma is the 2023 model years and far as it goes with the tundra it is 2021 model years every model older than those years will be the most reliable in the market😊 as time goes on
You are spot on bro. The Nissan truck is actually semi affordable and is a proven engine and a good transmission without their awful CVT garbage. I think I will be buying a SV Frontier with 4 wheel drive. The Nissan trucks look super basic but if you put some cool off-road wheels and tires it should dress it up for tons less than a Crapota. Congratulations on your success. Keep up the great work.
Theyll run fine, but a lot of them have gap problems. Rear bumper and in front of the truck bed. Both of my 3rd gens had these problems, both made in mexico
The new Tacoma has become the laughing stock of the industry. Now Made in Mexico, with Mexican-made drivetrains, body panel gap inconsistencies, etc. Serious small truck buyers looking for japanese quality are now moving to the new Nissan Frontier which hands down is a far better, better built, and more affordable truck. And you can get it with a tried and true regular V6 and not the stupid iForce twin turbo 4cylinder garbage that Toyota is forcing on everyone
Buying a new 2020 Camry ruined a 30 year trust in Toyota. I was the worst new car I ever owned and Toyota wouldn't do anything to fix the issues. I got tired of hearing it's normal for the 2018 and up Camry's.
@@jeffreyfurtado3681 I used to joke the windshield wipers were the only thing that worked right until they even started acting up just before I dumped the car. Transmission shifting hard. Not going forward after backing up. I got to the point of holding it to the floor until it would calm down and go into gear when it did it hoping it would blow up. Air conditioner not blowing cold for several minutes. Gas gauge still reading over full after 400 miles then dropping to empty in 40 miles. Cruise control 2 mph off. If I wanted the car to go 70 I had to set it at 72. Analog speedometer and digital speedometer disagreed with each other by 3 mph. Smelled like it was dumping hot antifreeze in the parking lot on hot days. Loses most of its power and had trouble getting up to speed on hot days. I had three pages of problems Toyota said were normal for the 18 and up Camry.

I just read an article that Toyota was allowing certain marginal components that would not normally pass its strict standards become acceptable because of shortage of supplies during COVID-19.
This video still doesn't clarify whether ANY of the new 2024 V35A equipped vehicles CURRENTLY in stock on dealers lots around the USA (e.g. the $80,000 Lexus GX550 and LX600) will have durable engine bearings !!
Nissan midsize trucks have always been great. I've owned a 2021 pro4x and then bought a 24 hardbody edition sv. I'd recommend them to anyone I love mine. 40k miles in 2 years on the 21 and 9k on the 24 in 4 months.
Being made in Mexico does not automatically make it a problem or a bad thing.. I bought a new 2023 Trd Sport made in Mexico and it is perfect inside and out. I never had a single issue! I was in the car business for 22 years and dealt with all different car brands and have seen plenty of issues with cars mad here in the USA
Toyota's legendary reliability and build quality has absolutely gone down the crapper.

I have a 2022 Tacoma made in Mexico as well. No issues after 20k. All Tacomas are built in Texas or Baja how.
I also have a 2023 Trd Sport made in Mexico and my Truck is perfect with zero issues.

My friend is a mechanic and said there is a finding metal shaving inside the so it's damaging bearing.
only fix for that issue is for Toyota to replace the engine which they will not do.
