I am so happy when you do videos like this having some way to mass produce is Key sometimes. When I make cards for the ladies at my work or to send out or to the nursing home, sometimes it’s key and I love it when you do these.
Love these cards! I have a question - what is the difference between the Pawsitively Saturated inks and the regular dye ink from SSS? I would love to see a video on what colors to start with, I'm confused about all the different gradients available.
Hi Beth! The formulation of the ink is different. The original Simon inks are waterproof once dry and have a more traditional pad. The Pawsitively Saturated inks (the ones I used in this video) are not waterproof (they react to moisture or water) and they have a squishy foam pad. Both inks do dry back a bit and smooth out, however I feel like the original inks dry back and smooth out the most.
@@kwernerdesign Thanks for that explanation, Kristina. Would you say one is more suited to ink blending than the other? I'm on the hunt for really, really good inks for blending backgrounds, besides my DO inks...
NOTE: Kristina forgot to update you on how long it took her to create the cards. It took her around 30 minutes! So fast and easy! :)

Yes! We love these cards you can make multiples of!
Love your cards and the use of the gel press! I’ll definitely have to try that technique! Very cool!💜
Please do!
Love the techniques! Great cards! ❤
Great technique Kristina! Beautiful cards!❤
Another great technique video
Great idea Kristina if you need a card in a hurry. I love using my gel plates. Thank you for sharing your inspiration today with us.🌸🌼🌺
I love these and the colors really popped. Thanks for showing us how this is done. Appreciate it.
I love the idea of the gelli plate... it creates such cool backgrounds... just love this idea! I think I just repeated myself. Thanks K! 💕🙋♀️
Thank you Kristina! ❤
QUEEN!!!
Good for a quick simple card. Will have to invest in a gel plate. Lovely cards.
So pretty
Would the new Waffle Flower Grip Mat work for the background technique instead of gel plate?

Can you please tell what you used to clean off the gel plate? Thanks!
It looks like she may have using the Tidy Towel from Gina K: bit.ly/3p9IbDY
I wonder if you did all the colors at once if this method would work better?
I considered that, however I wanted to minimize how much ink of different colors would get unintentionally transferred to the pads.
