Nothing makes me as happy as when I see designers make lemonade from lemons. Thank you for leaving in your "mistake" and demonstrating how to save it. Really pretty result!
OOOOh Kristina, this background is gorgeous. Don't you just love when a boo boo creates a whole new technique? Nice save!!! And yes, adding that frame was the "cherry on top"....love this beautiful card.
You snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. I was so surprised that the background turned out so stunning. Good job and thanks for showing us how to persevere.
This was a good lesson on sticking with something to see how you can make it work. Some of my best work has been the result of a "mistake." It's a lovely card.
That paint technique is fabulous! Love the “ghost” effect. I bet that stencil would be awesome using alcohol lift ink. I thought maybe the “love you” die cut would look cool with silver glitter on top. Beautiful card! TYFS ❤️🦋💜
Really like this technique. Now let's see if I can remember it when I'm working with my alcohol inks next. I hope I'll be able to create a lovely piece of art like this.
Stunning card! At first when you removed the stencil I thought oh no Kristina! It’s awful now😢. But man, you made a gorgeous card…again! I had forgotten about my Thin Frames, and I have both sets. I had put them away because I got so frustrated with getting them on straight. I didn’t think of using the center to get it straight! Brilliant, thank you!
From the way the light was picking up the shimmer on that card, it must be even more beautiful in person, I had my doubts for awhile, but it turned out gorgeous!
This turned out soooo cool!!!!! I love the effect of the white paint stenciling + the alcohol ink background. I can't really describe it, other than it almost seems ethereal. Thank you for sharing this! I may have to give this a try with the supplies I have. Have an awesome day! :)
I loved watching how you made this card. Though it wasn’t how you originally planned, I think it turned out beautiful and is something I’m going to try. I’m currently waiting for my alcohol inks and Yupo paper from Ranger.no ordered it after watching one of your other videos. I can’t wait to try it out. Please keep more videos coming with the alcohol inks.
This card is so, so pretty! It looks like Kristina sort of dabbed the picket fence distress paints on over the stencil. Do the distress paints come with that daubber top or is that something that needs to be pruchased separately?
It's a lesson in not giving up -- halfway through, when you added the paint, I rally did not like it. I would have cut it into strips or used for die cuts or something. But when it is all don, I love it! And I agree, the frame adds so much!

Yes! Perseverance is so important in crafting!
That card is a show stopper! Color wise and stencil too. Accidents like this are where many wonderful things happen.
Yes the frame does make it pop! Cool technique!! Thanks soooooo much for sharing 😀
So glad you liked it!

Lift ink would be genius with a stencil. Great idea, thanks!

Isn't it amazing? Kristina is so gifted!
Love, love how the white paint turned out. As a beginner, it was very helpful how you continued with your card instead of starting over!
