I love setting out on our deck drinking morning coffee and watching your videos. I just got out of the hospital having my aorta valve replaced.Iam doing great . I love to hunt and fish ( will be 80 July 1 ) I hope to be fishing next week. I can not wait to use some of the baits I bought after watching you.
Thanks for the tips. I'm glad you showed how to rig the Gillys. I've wondered how since they are so large. One question I have is does the one that you Texas rigged on the side still swim vertical or does it lean to the side due to the hook placement? You're videos are much appreciated.
Thanks again for the great tips and advice. I like the way the Speed Boss looks, I'm going to have to give that one a try along with the Gilly. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for all the great information. I'm an old man that hasn't fished much since the 70's and I'm getting back into it for my young grandson - there is so much more out there today and I am just trying to soak up as much as I can so maybe I can put him on some fish and have the same special time with him that I had with my dad and grandad. Really appreciate the knowledge on baits and how to fish them.
Good stuff! I've recently played around a bit with the gilly, too and have had decent luck with it! And when wacky rigging, I've had exceptional luck with pink colors, for whatever reason 😏
May is an awesome time of year to be on the lake bass fishing! Your May bait tips are spot on for the SC lakes that I fish! Actually every months tips are awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the tips and monthly breakdown. Love the back to basics and keep it simple style. “Color doesn’t matter, put the bait in the right place you’re gonna get the bite” so true! Great reminder!
Great suggestions! I look forward to the monthly bait videos! The dailies are a great bait. I have not been able to get my hands on any of the 130 size. Or in the pumpkin seed pattern. It is that time of year when you never know what you're going to catch. Could be 10 inches or could be 6 lb. Up north in Pennsylvania. We're not catching any 8 or 10 pounders. But it is fun nonetheless
Those Gily's are awesome looking, I have been watching a guy in Florida catch Snook on them. Trying to find some around here with no luck yet for a trip to FL. coming up in a couple months. Got to try them out. Thanks for all the great video's and everything you do to help us shorten the learning curve.
Thanks for another awesome video. I plan on working that General and a Gilly alot this year and your tips on rigging and fishing them are so helpful. Good luck at the next MLF event!
Really appreciate your top 3 videos. Started fishing again this year using fishing as my therapy. I try to catch a fish everyday of the year, and your videos have been so helpful. Thanks for all you do for the sport and more importantly, our youth through your coaching. God bless.
Edwin Thank you for another awesome and helpful video. I also am a believer that worm color isn't all that. I love throwing the green pumpkin worm. I'm just glad im not the only one that feels this way. Wishing you tight lines and full livewells brother 🎣🔥
I have been traveling for over a month to help with some family emergencies but am finally back home. This video was great as they all are and I can’t wait to get back out there and put them use. Thanks for a great channel. You’ve really helped to improve my time on the water.
Great video as usual! My middle Grandson has really started getting into fishing this past year…to the degree I can’t step out of the house without him following me asking where we are going fishing. He just happened to be walking past me as I was watching this video and I had to pause the video to explain who you are. He got really excited when he found out we were watching a fellow Okie who was living his dream. From my middle Grandson Kyle and myself, good luck this season!
Edwin I'm always excited to see you your new videos 📹 great content always. Thank you for giving back for your time.Good luck the rest of your season 👍
Hey Edwin great video as always, very informative. I do a lot of pond fishing from the bank and these are some great baits. Enjoy your videos and your expertise, looking forward to your next one.
I just love Project E! To hear from one of the greatest guys in professional fishing about tips on how to improve our game, it’s just amazing! Thank you for sharing and all the great information!
I just want to say thank you, sir for all you do. Even though you are busy with family, tournaments and everything in between, you still have time for us subscribers. You are truly the real deal.
Always appreciate your videos Edwin very informative and definitely useful tips and tricks. Thank you for all you do for the sport. Watching from Massachusetts
I love fishing weightless soft plastics from April till June. Obviously I'll throw other stuff but during that time I mostly throwing a weightless senko or cover scat, heck I like to use a lot of the soft plastics that are designed for punch fishing and just use them in open water.. the jackall archleon is a over looked craw bait that most people think it's only for punching but the aggressive ribs on it and have great water displacement. But you got to be extremely patient because the slightest little twitch will make it do a 1 to 3 ft glide weightless. Thanks for the video ed
thanks for another video full of not only baits, but how you rig and fish them. It sure helps all us weekend anglers to catch more bass. I, we really appreciate the time you spend with these videos. Thanks again and good luck throughout the rest of the year. Jim
It’s always nice to get advice from a local thanks for the tips. Me and my 4yo fish grand and oolagah from the banks. He’s quite the fisherman when he’s not throwing rocks.
Thanks for these great tips. Due to my wifes health issues, I have been unable to fish this spring. Your videos as well as those of a couple of your buddies have helped a lot. I hope to get out before too long. Good luck and keep the videos coming!
I absolutely love the month of may. You get to the lake some years and you just don't know what is going to work but one thing is for sure is that you get the right baits tied on and something is going to catch fire.
Thanks for giving great advice! Just recently started bass fishing lakes with my 4 year old son and we’ve caught more fishing using the baits you recommend than all the other!
Great advise! I’ve heard from older guys to swim a worm but I’ve never had the confidence to do it. Your videos give me confidence and I will try it next tournament! Keep up the good work!
Mr Edwin. Thank you. The fishing as of late has picked up and been awesome. I think alot of it has to do with the advice your giving everyone. Be blessed.
I just brought 2 packs of those swimming worms yesterday and I have never seen or heard of them before and for you to share and show the exact bait makes me feel like I picked something really good thanks again Big E
I consider myself to be somewhat of a power fisherman but I do on occasion throw more of the finesse type presentations. I’m intrigued with the gilly presentation with the hook on the side. Thanks again for your videos. I learn alot from them.
Thanks for a job expanding on to rig and fish these baits. You're a good example of a great fisherman to helping others. I'm the owner of The Cabin bait and tackle on Barkley and Kentucky. Good luck this on Major league fishing.
Your picks are always tied up and on my bass boat deck. Thanks for sharing your experience and expertise - the content covered has definitely made me a better fisherman.
Awesome insight Edwin! I think "color doesn't really matter" is great advice! Too many times have I overthought the color of the bait I'm using, which causes me to change a lot. More time changing means less time less time fishing and therefore less fish caught. I now have about 1-3 colors for every technique, and I can honestly say that I catch more fish because I spend more actually fishing rather than sitting down on the deck of the boat. I have shared this with my little brother and now he's having fun catching more fish too. Great video!
I got a pack of Gilly 90 Bluegill HD, I heard the 2 ot works good , I'm ready to go! Yeah throw the Xbox away , force them to fish in the winter for Saugeye. ( note: my bass boat kayak and accessories cost the same as a Xbox, membership, and a few games)
Thank you for the tips, Edwin! I’ve been so busy this year I’ve barely had time to fish, but I fish in my imagination as I imagine using these baits. Thank you again
I love your videos and all the great information. Thank you for taking time to help me catch more fish. I use a worm as soon as the fish start guarding fry and finesse it all summer. It never fails. The worm is what caught me my 1st 5 lb fish last summer.
Thank you for the commitment to these videos. I appreciate your time and knowledge to give us all insight on making the most of our time on the water. God bless.
You are the man EE! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. My daughter and I have been on em lately with your help! Gillie for the win down here in Texas
