    This bike is on offer now in the Allyos social store app for both purchase and for auction. Minimum entry is $1 that you can spend it you don't win the purchase right on the auction. Great vid, thanks!

    Like it, electric is getting very popular these days and rightly so. The only criticism I have regarding electric cars and bikes is no noise, I am not cribbing your purchase but I think the need to be putting some type of noise then pedestrians and blind know your coming

    • @ttxela
      @ttxela  5 років тому

      Noise is a concern, it's not totally silent of course but is very quiet.

    Good overview. Im in a simiar situation, I electrified my mountain bike a couple of years ago, started using it to get to and from work, cancelled my lease on a carpark and my RX8 now just gets used once a week (to keep the battery charged, ironically) or If im going for a longer trip, ie more than 60KM round trip (the safe range of my e-bike). However, Im thinking that just being able to keep up a consistent 40-50KPH will make the local trips take less time, less incentive just to take the car to save an hour. The TS still looks small enough I could stash it in the basement at work and still recharge it with the e-bikes there 8)

    • @ttxela
      @ttxela  3 роки тому

      The TS is now pretty outdated. The TSx appears to be an improvement but I have no experience of it. The TC Max sounds great if you have a bike licence.

    Could you maybe make another recent review about how long you can do with the breaks , how much do they cost and do you have any glitches ? How good do the breaks work and do they make a noice whole it rains? Has it ever out of the blue just stoped working or didn’t start? Would really appreciate, considering to buy one myself

    I have an orange one! This moped is lit!
    BUT:
    Within the EU you are only allowed to drive 45kmh max. speed. The moped is able to drive 65kmh with no effort.
    That's the only thing, but I have very much fun with this baby!

    Great looking piece of kit.how long does it take to charge from empty? I love my electric push bike but like you say people in cars just don’t want to give you enough room on the road.Ive had to wear my GoPro again just to make them aware they are being filmed .Its surprising that they back off as soon as they realise what’s on top of the helmet.!!!!!!!

    Hi , Have you tried riding it uphill. I would like to know how it performs. Am thinking of buying it. !GO GREEN!

    • @ttxela
      @ttxela  5 років тому

      Well it's very flat where I live so not many hills at all, when I have ridden up a gradient it copes reasonably well in restricted mode but at top speed in derestricted mode it definitely slows down on a slope. I think it would struggle a bit in mountainous terrain.

    • @ttxela
      @ttxela  5 років тому

      Error 96 indicates a controller failure, if you can your best bet is to return it to the dealer. If you have access to another battery you could try that?

    What kind of real life range are you getting in 45 km/h mode? I wish dealerships would not lie about the range - they ALWAYS do... p.s i think there is a video on how to unlock 75 km/h mode by holding right brake lever and throttle....tempting...nice bonus if i get a motorcycle license someday=) Thanks for the review!!!

    • @ttxela
      @ttxela  4 роки тому

      I've got a 15 mile commute to work which in summertime leaves me with a little over 50% battery left so it is necessary to re-charge at work before coming home (since the manual warns against depleting the battery below 20%). This is variable though and factors like headwinds and low temperature reduce this noticably. A cold windy winters day might see me arrive with only 30% battery.
      So if you want to commute on a single battery and can charge at work I'd say 18/20 miles would be doable. If you can't charge at work obviously halve that.

    Hello! I'm curious about the acceleration of the bike on the no.3 mode. How quickly the bike reaches the 50 kmh? (Or 45 kmh)

    • @ttxela
      @ttxela  5 років тому

      Interesting question, here in the UK it's more usual to talk in mph. The restriction for me to ride on my car licence is 30mph which is more or less 45 kph.
      I haven't timed acceleration but it's something I may well do. Not sure what the official figures are but it feels reasonably quick in the no.3 setting.

    • @ttxela
      @ttxela  5 років тому +1

      It has pegs for a pillion passenger but I think the weight limit I'd around 120kg so probably only suitable for a child passenger and you'd impact the range considerably. I think a trailer would be the best bet to take it along on motorhome trips.
