Hell Yeah, didn't even watch yet and I know this is gonna be good !! DEPTHS will forever be a deathcore classic and Adam, top tier vocalist and human being in general. Big Fan 🤘🏻🔥
Depths was a unique album. The blend of "death" and "core" was perfect. The technical drums, chugging guitars and the lead guitar, Adam's vocal style complement each other. Have to give props to the bass as well, I like when the bass isn't fancy but suports the drums and guitars making the song heavier, it also has its sinister moments as well 😊 The production is insane, made it all sound grand... Just really happy a friend of mine showed me this album when we were teenagers. Used to try to find heavy breakdowns to show each other and get high :D. Definitely a top 5 in deathcore, ascendants being number 1 ❤. But comparing depths to ascendants is like comparing burgers to pizza. Both are always tasty af 👌
This is a nice lil treat. Easily one of my top 5 deathcore albums and Oceano is one of the bands I’ve seen live the most times over the years. I actually had no idea you guys were playing the Issues show when I went, so what a lovely surprise that was. Loved this retrospective and can’t wait for what’s to come :)
This album was my first deathcore album i had gotten just on a whim since i didnt know any bands other than whitechapel and i loved it instantly. Depths was the song i fell asleep to almost every night. This album takes me back to my high school days. Please make another instrumental like depths soon!
Depths, Ascendants & Revelation is all my fav. Oceano albums since my High School & College days ❤❤❤ happy 15 Anniversary Depths 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥 long time Fan from Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭
I saw you do the show in SLC with Despised Icon man... you were lurking in the crowd and I was pumped to see you in general. And then you got on stage and you killed it dude. 3 vocalists going ham at the same time and it brought the house down. Hope to see you soon bro.
Oceano is such an underrated deathcore group, you can tell by the fanaticism of the fans. People are still obsessing over this album 15 years later, I still listen to the whole thing every month.
I loved this break down! I can't wait to see you guys in Mechanicsburg Pa. Please play Orificial Execution! It's my favorite f-ing song! I've seen you guys probably 9 or 10 times since 2009 but I've never heard it live. It's the first song I put on when I listen to this album. If I hear that live you will see my mid 30 year old body cartwheeling 🤸🏽♂️ through the air! I'll be able to die happy and have a great story for my grandkids one day 😂
I was around 14-15 when this came out and me and my friends when NUTS for this record over in Sweden. Love it til this day, just listened to it last week!
This album still is in my rotation. Can’t hear the word flesh without thinking of you 😂. Also don’t know if you remember the good old croc rock in Allentown Pennsylvania but I miss that venue.
I always loved and extremely appreciated the Depths title track. The stupid heavy yet melodic instrumental work really made me appreciate so much more music similar to that and wished more bands did heavy/pretty instrumentals. Plus Samael, the Destroyer makes me jut my jaw and go primal 10/10
Glad you enjoyed! And yes. News on all that is to come. But it’s all going to be a surprise! But if you’re clever and watch my content I’ve already given hints 😉
Glad you dig the album. There won’t be. Esp as the sound could never be replicated. It also doesn’t have a concept or theme being followed really. And most of all I don’t like to overstay reminiscing on past accomplishments. It stagnates future progress.
1. Depths instrumental track is beautiful. I hate that bands don't do these anymore. 2. Involuntary Demoralization bonus is fucking filthy I love it so much
Not a fan of deathcore and never was even back in the days but for some reason Oceano was always the only exception ! There is just something more "death" to their albums ! Depths is a classic in my book .
In a way. I’m always honest with myself and others when I critique my past work. But this was def a nice walk down memory lane and a refresher for this month’s shows! Thanks for watching!
Whoaa! Thats impressive haha. Perhaps its time you get a vinyl version! We will have a limited amount of 2 variants at our Depths shows! Hope ya can make it!
@@anthonyhogue6387 can’t argue with that 😂 I would just love to hear those screams bouncing around in the same room, imagine the ferocity with these very isolated talents fueling each others screams.
Deathcore today has lost the key elements of hardcore that you early bands retained. Thats why the myspace deathcore resurgence is so welcomed. Its music that was written for a live setting, not just studio wankery.
Exactly. I couldn't figure out what it was about modern deathcore I didn't like--- lack of hardcore. This is why old Suffokate's Oakland album rule so fucking hard
🤘
yooo Robbb!

Much love! Enjoy homie!
2009 best deathcore album ❤😊
One of the heaviest and catchiest deathcore albums ever. That's a staple in extreme music in general to me
Happy to hear that after all these years!
I'm ready this was my first album I listen too from OCEANO! still vibin since 2009
Same with me, I'm stoked for this.
Here because of the duality cover… please give us the entire song!!!! Please upload more too! You are amazing

Love this review! I agree with you fully! Thanks for keeping up with us and the catalog over the years! ❤️
Oceano are the goats! thanks for making this album, it was a huge part of my life. still is actually, its so heavy.

so cool to hear commentary on an absolutely goated album
This is awesome, always wanted to hear your direct thoughts on Depths! 🤘🤘🤘
Truly appreciate this album and the in depth(s) commentary bro, had this blasting on repeat all of 2009/2010 in high school 🤘
I remember buying this cd at Pearl Room back 08/09 ish.
Yooooo! Now that’s throwback ish!

Hahaah I remember, I just got back from TwitchCon in San Diego that same day! Then went to the show cuz I was invited after I landed. Good times!
Legendary album! 🥹

🥰 much love!
This album completely blew my fucking mind in high school when I was getting into metal.
That’s awesome to hear! Thanks for being a fan over all these years!
@@AdamonEarth Big fan! incisions is an underrated album.
Such an influential album and big part of my life no doubt
Ps love that live feature you did with Despised Icon 🔥
Pps. Disgust for your Kind is one of my favorites, although it's hard to choose 🔥

Oh _hell_ yes. Hadn't even clocked you had a channel. Finally YT's damn algorithms are doing me some good! Huzzah! \o/
Love to hear the algo is working in our favor haha thanks for watching!
One of my favourite deathcore albums ever and one of the best albums ever imo . Such solid work
I love this instrumental. This whole album is a masterpiece.
Thank you dude! And thanks for watching!
Bro - this is one of (if not THE) album that defined deathcore for me. Legendary! I still listen to this album.
I was around 14-15 when this came out and me and my friends when NUTS for this record over in Sweden. Love it til this day, just listened to it last week!
remembering my college days! Depths forever!
I remember hearing District of Misery on a free CD from a magazine, got me hooked! Top album for sure 🔥
Met you at the show a year in a half ago at the Berkeley show with carnifex. You said you recorded the new one with joey right? So pumped.
Joey mixed and mastered it.
@@AdamonEarth Nice. he's a personal fav fosho.

Inhuman Affliction outro will always be my favorite Oceano breakdown.

Foi a melhor parte do meu domingo ❤ obrigado Adam Warren ... Esperando album novo 🎉 ja tem um nome ???

@@AdamonEarth Thank you, you are always kind and always answer my questions... Thank you, I am always rooting for you and your family...
Sick Video Bro 🤘
Any and everytime anyone asks "what is deathcore?"
This is the album I mention/show them.
This IMO is THE definition of deathcore.
Dude this record was absolute gas when it came out, and now its one of the best of the early deathcore stuff. Legendary.
My favorite Oceano album
This is a pillar in the genre 🤘🏼
Wild to hear that after all these years! Honored ☺️
Depths instrumental is the beer/whiskey, maybe water, break song
There needs to be depths part 2 bro !!!!!!
Glad you dig the album. There won’t be. Esp as the sound could never be replicated. It also doesn’t have a concept or theme being followed really. And most of all I don’t like to overstay reminiscing on past accomplishments. It stagnates future progress.
“DEPHTS” is a pillar in the genre 🔥🤘
How Are you Adam?
We miss you
Living chaos is soooo good !!!!!!
The album that put me on to deathcore via AfroPunk
Depths is goated! 🔥🔥
An iconic album that influenced the entire deathcore genre back in the days 🤘
Fav deathcore band ❤
Love this!! I remember requesting District of Misery back in the day on Liquid Metal! 2 stepped the fuck out of this album!
Will you have Depths merch at the shows ?
Exclusive Depths Themed merch for the shows
1. Depths instrumental track is beautiful. I hate that bands don't do these anymore.
2. Involuntary Demoralization bonus is fucking filthy I love it so much
remember going to myspace and blast this album on class soooooo loud. all classmates shit on themself.
That GoW reference was spot on here😂
Still a BANGING album
Inhuman Affliction is my favorite
That's one of my favorites too! :)
Shout out to your mom the microbiologist!! From a metal fan, microbiologist, and aspiring vocalist ❤
Oceano and Whitechapel are what got me into deathcore 😌
🐐 'd
Mandatory sacrifice maybe has the heaviest riff with only two fucking notes, damn.
What makes me sad is Contagion is never played live anymore. ]":
We actually have been playing songs from that album almost every time in the past. Usually Weaponized or Viral Reanimation.
@AdamonEarth I think I have seen you guys play end Intellect live before as well. Those drum fills are so killer 🤘🤘
Goooo
LOVER...STILL...DONESTER...😎...
Incredible album! It’s definitely one of the best deathcore albums of all time hands down.
Not a fan of deathcore and never was even back in the days but for some reason Oceano was always the only exception ! There is just something more "death" to their albums ! Depths is a classic in my book .
uuuuuuuuuurgl 🔨
hello sir adam. can you do pig squeel?
sure can, but thats nothing impressive imo not worth focusing on if you want to become a professional vocalist
Iowa all the way
see you then!
feat Alex or Ronald hell yeah you are nice scream peace from german
Mandatory Sacrifice two-step is such a sleeper. Hearing it on the album does not compare to the live two-step
Can you review your own album? Is that... allowed?
In a way. I’m always honest with myself and others when I critique my past work. But this was def a nice walk down memory lane and a refresher for this month’s shows! Thanks for watching!
This album didnt leave the CD player in my truck for months. Pretty sure it wont even play correctly now it's so worn out 😂
Whoaa! Thats impressive haha. Perhaps its time you get a vinyl version! We will have a limited amount of 2 variants at our Depths shows! Hope ya can make it!
Can you do a song with Will Ramos??? Yall should get together.
Or Bozeman
Honestly man. I'd just settle for new music in general. And selfishly, a whole fucking lot of it lol.
