Do you breed on first or second heat rather than the common 2-3 yo befor breeding you explained and showed me that I was wrong with my plans I had to breed skip and then breed again, so question is when do you recommend first breeding a female?
Love the video! I’ve got a bitch that I plan to use to get started, she’s not perfect by any means. I’m hoping I can breed her flaws out. The flaws are on her mums side,so I was thinking of breeding her back to her dad side to hopefully loose her flaws. Is going back to her grandad or uncle to close? I don’t want to cause health issues.
Man it’s like you were talking directly to me with this video. My keeper female from my first litter ended up Easty Westy. I blame myself for feeding her too aggressively, as she is the only dog out of the litter who ended up with bad feet. She is going to GrCh Just Bullsharkin’ in February. Fingers crossed my research is sufficient!
Trent’s a real one all his info all solid does hide anything can see his love for the breed and is a great businessman we did solid work together not BS just all around good dude will definitely do more work with him in the future no doubt. I stand on it. 🔥
Man I appreciate you for making these videos. I’m trying to work my way up to producing a GrCh or Ch bully. I actually have a breeding lined up with a stud your produced (Ch Horus).
It's important to note and mention that some flaws are harder to fix than others. To me east west is minor . Easier to fix but cow hocked is more difficult to get rid of . I'm sure it's different for every individual though. Also with any breeding it's jot just about structure or looks of quality. It's about the animals health aswell. Dna and health testing is extremely important so you know your not passing on bad health traits too
If you’re breeding unhealthy dogs you’re obviously not heading in the right direction. Certain flaws can be harder to get rid of if they are dominant or very prominent in your dog’s lineage. All our informational videos pertain to breeding towards the standard. It’s noted in the video that after a couple generations you will see what you need to work on and start making serious progress. Thanks for your opinion.
I brought a line breed male his got heaps of chariteristics I like so now I can save on the male side bt can select my females with the things I would like in him to create my own bloodline I just rather be around my dogs more than I like being around humans is my reasoning behind starting my plans for my own kennel after I was asked so many times to stud my male out. I like the flip side to ur dogs my missus loves your dogs I’ve always had big dogs bt have always selectively breed mutes for hunting and pig dogs.
