Our front porch was way overdue for an update and makeover! I found the cutest fluted outdoor planters (linked below) and changed the color of them with a quick DIY project! Giving our porch an easy refresh always feels great. The bright white flowers and simple greenery keep things feeling fresh, clean, and new; which is perfect for the Spring season.
I incorporated some interest and texture by bringing in a set of layered rugs, both of which I found on Amazon. (Linked below) Our new Drawf Olive tree is probably my absolute favorite of the update! I absolutely love the look and feel of a beautiful olive tree on the porch.

I love what you did with the pots and I love the plants as well. You gave me an idea thanks for the video. I'm am a plant lover cant get enough of my own plants and love gardening and planting my own seeds and growing vegetables in the garden very rewarding.

What a treasure find your eagle eye spotted in those RH duped fluted planters! After you were done the color and finish some how made them more weighty. Even thicker looking. Which means your faux stone/concrete technique was a success! Well done you!

@@melindadavis920 The Blue gem is from Home depot, the Olive was from a local nursery. Try a lcoal nursery in your area, they usually have a lot more options than Lowes or HD.

Lovely!!! May I suggest that before you place your plant into the new soil that you "tickle" or break up the roots. The plant will get more water and nutrients from the soil !

I actually got the olive bush from a local nursery, I did notice Home Depot had the CUTEST little trees in the indoor plant section, little baby type olive trees, but SO cute!

So you basically dry brushed with the white wax?
Yes. The wax is very easy to use! Still looking great on it too!

What kind of sun do those plants need? Are plants that do not need sun
Our porch gets a lot of sun, both of those plants do well in full sun. You can always check the tags on the plants to see what kind of light exposure they need. :)

It looks lovely. Always loved rosemary. We have one in front of our kitchen window and when the flowers are in bloom (spring) there are always dragonfly and butterflies aound.
